I would rather say to flee from thinking, it makes unnecessary to create your own principles and
to answer the “big questions in life” on your own. People who get used to not thinking this way
can easily be manipulated. I have not tried any drugs, but I think that the freedom they can get

I think drug is short term helper but religion is the way in the long term to be happy. For me

I agree, we have many examples but most certain thing is terrorism (extremistic Islamic, KKK,
etc.) the religions were established to help people live in a kind of ethical way but it’s an excuse
nowadays that it was supposed to be by god. And also as a goal of religion, people are examined
whether they use their mind or not.

Religions social use at the beginning was something like law have now: to give use to people
every day of their everyday life. But furthermore it helps to answer questions that could not be
answered by science, so it made it not necessary to their those questions to through for the
individual people it is a political use religion is the best way to manipulate people as we can use it
in history as we can see it

I also agree with you, however I think it was always in the same way in the past as well since
religion is very personal and people (and myself) should leave it in a way that they want to; it is a

Religion has done good things, but very often misused. Think one of the reason we got religion is
because it can manipulate and silence the people otherwise the leaders would not be interested in

Dietrich: Originally religion was neon is as it is createded to explain why the world - now
explained by Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Evolution. Today people want answers on how to
organise their lives…
Agi: Religion gave answers to people to the questions that couldn’t be answered before the
sciences were developed and nowadays toethical questions that they can’t answer without having
their own principals. To society religion had a use like now laws have , it helped to control
peolple.
Nese: I think human beings are composed of mainly not just a body and brain but also the spirit
that needs to be combined with both. And the psychology included such that all of them searches
for the answers of being human beings at the end. Than this question raises to be answered what
is beyond of just living in this world but it is now coming to the world. Then the religion comes
up as answera but in different shapes.
David: The answers Dietrich and Agi give do only scratch the surface of why human beings
“need” religion. Nese has a point when she says, that there is more to a human than just a body
and a brain. The point is that most of the religions offer hope that our lives are not futile but that
there is eternity even for us.

Aron: I think it’s much easier to live our life in already given borders. Like this you don’t haveto
think about “why”-s , you just do what you’re told. So maybe people explain their decisions for
themselves by using the religion.
Philip: Science can only explain how things happen, not why. Therefore people still need religion
to explain the great questions of life, which I believe logic and science never will explain. People
need hope and explanation for the great tragedies in life, that’s what religion can offer. Some
humans also need religion to cope with their “hard” life. They need to know in all their suffer that
they one day, if they behave good, will come to paradise.
