weekend wins against the
Northside Vikings.

tournament last week and
had a win, tie and a loss.
We lost 6-0 to Truro, who
forechecked the crap out of
us,” said MacEachern.
“The boys have to
realize this is the calibre
we’re going to have to play
against if we’re going to win
anything this year.”
MacEachern said
playing weaker opponents
creates bad habits that they
get away with here but get
called on up the line.
“Our game is down low
so you can’t be dangling the
puck, trying to make a play.

Cape Breton West had
little trouble handling the
Vikings, winning 4-0 in
Sydney Mines on Saturday
and skating to a 7-3 win in
Inverness on Sunday.
Brent Pierro posted the
shutout in Saturday’s game,
which the Eagles led 2-0
and 4-0 by periods.

scored twice to lead Cape
Breton West, with singles
from John Farrell and Tyler
J. MacDonald.
On Sunday, the Eagles
were up 2-1 and 4-1 by
periods before the Vikings
threw a scare into them with
the first two goals of the
third period.

DATA VALIDATION AND AUTO GL-CODING
Data matching and validation is enhanced by using Distiller’s fuzzy logic to
