B. Installation of the Drain Funnel
(Ref. Fig. 301/TASK 25-53-00-991-001-A, 302/TASK 25-53-00-991-005)
(1)
Put the drain funnel (5) in position below the drain outlet (4).
(2)
Install the screws (3) and the nuts (7) and tighten.
(3)
Put the new O-ring (10) on the drain funnel (5).
(4)
Attach the pipe end-fitting (11) to the drain funnel (5).
(5) Put the insulation (6),(8) and (9) on the drain funnel (5). Subtask 25-53-00-420-051-A
C. Installation of the Filter and the Filter Housing
(Ref. Fig. 301/TASK 25-53-00-991-001-A, 302/TASK 25-53-00-991-005)
(1)
Put a new filter (12) in the filter housing (2).
(2)
Put the filter housing (2) with the filter in position on the drain outlet (4).
(3)
Install the screws (1) in the filter housing (2) and tighten.
(4)
Apply STORAGE PRESERVATION (Material No. 15-006) to the fasteners and all other connection elements.
(5)
Apply SPECIAL MATERIALS (Material No. 05-005D) to the material applied to the fasteners and other connection elements (Ref. TASK 51-75-13-916-002).

D. Installation of the Heater Element and the Insulation
(Ref. Fig. 303/TASK 25-53-00-991-002, 304/TASK 25-53-00-991-006)
(1)
Put the heater element (33) in position along the section of the drain pipe (32) you install.
(2)
Attach the heater element (33) to the drain pipe (32) with adhesive tape (30).
(3)
Install the bonding strap (25) (Ref. TASK 20-28-00-912-004) with the screws (26), the washers (23) and the nuts (21) to the clamps (27) where necessary on each drain pipe section you install.
(4)
Put the insulation (31) on the drain pipe (32) and seal the joint of the insulation with adhesive tape.
(5)
Put the clamps (22) and (36) over the insulation on the drain pipe section you install.
(6)
Repeat steps (1) thru (5) for each section of drain pipe you install. Subtask 25-53-00-420-057
E. Installation of the Drain Pipes
(1) For the FWD Cargo Compartment between (FR33) and (FR34). (Ref. Fig. 303/TASK 25-53-00-991-002, 305/TASK 25-53-00-991-003, 307/TASK 25-53-00-991-004)
(a)
Remove the blanking plugs from the drain pipe ends.
(b)
Put the drain pipe sections in position.
(c)
Loosely install the clamp (22) and the bonding strap (25) (Ref. TASK 20-28-00-912-004) with the bolt (24) and the washer
(23) to support each drain pipe sections.
(d)
Put the new O-ring (10) on the drain funnel (5).
(e)
Attach the pipe end-fitting (11) to the drain funnel (5). Do not tighten the pipe end-fitting (11) at this time.
(f)
Attach the T-connector (61) to the pipe end-fittings (60). Do not tighten the pipe end-fittings at this time.
(g)
Repeat steps (a) thru (f) for each section of drain pipe you install.
(h)
Attach the elbow union (63) to the pipe end-fitting (62) and drain pipe (40). Do not tighten the pipe end- fittings at this time.
(i)
Put the rubber sleeve (42) on the drain pipe (40).
(j)
Make sure that the gap between the drain pipe (40) and the adjacent pipe end (43) is approximately 12 mm (0.4724 in.).
(k)
Move the rubber sleeve (42) over the adjacent pipe end (43).
(l)
Attach the rubber sleeve (42) with new tie-wraps (41).
(m)
Fully tighten all nuts, screws and pipe end-fittings.
(n)
Put all insulation parts on the drain funnels. Subtask 25-53-00-420-055
F. Installation of the Drain Pipes
(1) For the FWD Cargo Compartment between (FR30) and (FR33). (Ref. Fig. 303/TASK 25-53-00-991-002, 305/TASK 25-53-00-991-003)
(a)
Remove the blanking plugs from the drain pipe ends.
(b)
Put the drain pipe sections in position.
(c)
Loosely install the clamps (22), (36) and the bonding strap (25) (Ref. TASK 20-28-00-912-004) with the bolts (24), (38), the washers (23), (37) to support each drain pipe sections.
(d)
Put the rubber sleeve (42) on the drain pipe end (43) and the outlet port of the air stop valve.
