R (d) Install the bolt (40), the washer (41), the washer(s) (45) and
R the nut (44).
R (e) Do not fully tighten the nut (44) at this stage.
R (7) At the inboard forward attachment:
R (a) Align the hole in the rod (35) with the hole in the inboard
R forward attachment bracket (26). Do not adjust the length of the
R rod (35). The rod (35) is set and locked at aircraft build and
R must not be adjusted.
R (b) Install the floating bush (32) into the inboard forward
R attachment (26).
R (c) Apply a thin layer of COMMON GREASE (Material No. 04-004) to the
R bolt (24).
R (d) Install the bolt (24), the washer (25), the washer(s) (31) and
R the nut (30).
R (e) Do not fully tighten the nut (30) at this stage.
R (8) At the shroud box/overwing panel forward attachment bracket:
R (a) Align the hole in the forward attachment bracket (68) (on the
R shroud box) with the hole in the bracket on the overwing panel.
R (b) Install the bush (69) through the bracket on the overwing panel
R and the forward attachment (68) on the shroud box.
R (c) Install the bolt (66),the washer (67),the washer (70) and the nut
R (71).
R (d) Do not fully tighten the nut (71) at this stage.
R (9) At the shroud box/overwing panel top skin attachment:
R (a) Install the bolts (65) (that attach the shroud box to the
R overwing panel) from the top surface of the wing.
R (b) Torque the bolts (65) to between 0.34 and 0.48 m.daN (30.08 and
R 42.47 lbf.in).
R (10) At the shroud box/overwing panel forward attachment bracket:
R (a) Torque the nut (71) to 0.5 m.daN (44.24 lbf.in).
R (b) If necessary, loosen the nut so that you can install a
R cotter-pin.
R (c) Install a new cotter-pin (72).
R (11) At the outboard aft attachment bracket:
R (a) Torque the nut (88) to 0.5 m.daN (44.24 lbf.in).
R (b) If necessary, loosen the nut so that you can install a
R cotter-pin.
R (c) Install a new cotter-pin (98).
R (d) Attach the bonding strap (94) to the tag (96) with the bolt (97)
R and the nut (95) (Ref. TASK 20-28-00-912-004).
R (12) At the outboard forward attachment bracket:
R (a) Torque the nut (79) to 0.5 m.daN (44.24 lbf.in).
R (b) If necessary, loosen the nut so that you can install a
R cotter-pin.
R (c) Install a new cotter-pin (80).
R (d) Attach the bonding strap (82) to the tag (84) with the bolt (85)
R and the nut (83) (Ref. TASK 20-28-00-912-004).
R (13) At the inboard aft attachment bracket:
R (a) Torque the nut (60) to 0.5 m.daN (44.24 lbf.in).
R (b) If necessary, loosen the nut so that you can install a
R cotter-pin.
R (c) Install a new cotter-pin (59).
R (d) Attach the bonding strap (55) to the bracket (51) with the bolt
R (50) and the nut (52) (Ref. TASK 20-28-00-912-004).
R (14) At the inboard center attachment bracket:
R (a) Torque the nut (44) to 0.5 m.daN (44.24 lbf.in).
R (b) If necessary, loosen the nut so that you can install a
R cotter-pin.
R (c) Install a new cotter-pin (43).
R (15) At the inboard forward attachment bracket:
R (a) Torque the nut (30) to 0.5 m.daN (44.24 lbf.in).
R (b) If necessary, loosen the nut so that you can install a
R cotter-pin.
R (c) Install a new cotter-pin (29).
R (d) Attach the bonding strap (33) to the bracket (27) with the bolt
R (34) and the nut (28) (Ref. TASK 20-28-00-912-004).
R (16) Install the torque shaft 6206CM(6256CM) in the shroud box (Ref. TASK
R 27-54-45-400-003).
R (17) Install the inboard brake-pipes (14), (15) and (16) as follows:
R (a) Remove the blanking plugs from the brake-pipe hydraulic
