 Install the bonding strap (31) with the bolt (32) and the nut

 (7) At the rear mounting:

 (a) Install the flanged nuts (7) on the studs (8).
 (b) Adjust the flanged nuts (7) until the dimension Z is from 0.7 mm
 (0.0275 in.) to 0.8 mm (0.0314 in.).
 (c) Hold the flanged nuts (7) and install the nuts (6).
 (d) TORQUE the nuts (6) to between 2.26 and 2.40 m.daN (16.66 and
 17.69 lbf.ft).
 (e) Install the new cotter pins (5) then safety the nuts (6) and (7)
 with MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-010).
 (8) Remove the support from the flap track beam (1).
 (9) Measure the dimension Z again.

R  THESE MATERIALS ARE POISONOUS, FLAMMABLE AND SKIN IRRITANT. 
R  GET MEDICAL HELP IF YOUR SKIN OR EYES BECOME IRRITATED. 
R  WARNING : SUPPORT THE UNIT/ASSEMBLY OR IT WILL FALL AND BECOME DAMAGED OR_______ 
R  INJURE PERSONNEL. THE UNIT/ASSEMBLY IS HEAVY. 
R  NOTE : The weight of the flap track beam (1) is 45 kg (99.2079 lb).____ 
R  (1) Lift and hold the flap track beam (1). 
R  NOTE : Steps 2,3 and 4 must be completed carefully and as one____ 
R  continous procedure. Unsatisfactory work will result in damage 
R  to the spigot chrome protection and/or the top flange of the 
R  beam.

R  (2) Lift the rear end of the flap track beam (1). Engage the failsafe 
R  spigot (10) through the bush in the bottom skin plate. 
R  (3) At the rear mounting: 
R  (a) Apply SPECIAL MATERIALS (Material No. 05-002) to the aft spigot 
R  pin (17), but not to the thread. 
R  (b) Install the spherical washer (4). 
R  (c) Fill the space between the spherical washer (4) and the aft 
R  spigot pin (17), as shown, with SPECIAL MATERIALS (Material No. 
R  05-002). 
R  (d) Install the nut (3) on the aft spigot pin (17). 
R  (4) At the forward mounting: 
R  (a) Apply a thin layer of SPECIAL MATERIALS (Material No. 05-002) to 
R  the forward spigot pin (24). 
R  (b) Use the EXTRACTOR FLAP SPIGOT (98D57004037000) to install the 
R  forward spigot pin (24): 
R  - through the spherical bearing (19) 
R  - into the flap track beam (1). 
R  (c) Apply a thin layer of SPECIAL MATERIALS (Material No. 05-002) to 
R  the bolt (20). 
R  (d) Align the hole in the forward spigot pin (24) and install the 
R  bolt (20), the washer (29) and the nut (28). 
R  (e) TORQUE the nut (28) to between 0.35 and 0.4 m.daN (30.97 and 
R  35.39 lbf.in). 
R  (f) Install the new cotter pin (27). 
R  (5) At thr rear mounting: 
R  (a) TORQUE the nut (3) to between 11.9 and 13.0 m.daN (87.75 and 
R  95.87 lbf.ft). 
R  (b) If the flap track beam has a new aft spigot pin (17) installed: 
R  - drill a 3.25 mm (0.1279 in.) hole in the aft spigot pin (17) 
R  for the cotter pin (2). 
R  (c) Install the new cotter pin (2).

 At the forward mounting:

 (a)
 Apply a thin layer of SEALANTS (Material No. 09-018) to the failsafe pin (26) and the anti-chafe collar (21).

 (b)
 Install the failsafe pin (26), the anti-chafe collar (21), the pin (31), the collar (22) and the new cotter pin (23).

 (c)
 Install the bonding strap (30) with the bolt (31) and the nut

 (25) (Ref. TASK 20-28-00-912-004).

 At the rear mounting:

 (a)
 Install the flanged nuts (7) on the studs (8).

 (b)
 Adjust the flanged nuts (7) until the dimension Z is from 0.7 mm (0.0275 in.) to 0.8 mm (0.0314 in.).
