trailing edge are not out of tolerance.
1) At the support beams for the aileron balance panel, make sure the clearance is 0.350-
0.500 inch (8.89-12.7 millimeters).
2) At the blade seals, make sure the clearance is 0.010-0.050 inch (0.25-1.27 milliters).
(b) Make sure the mismatch for the upper and lower surfaces of the aileron and the fixed
trailing edge are not out of tolerance.
1) For the aileron outside of the wing contour, make sure the maximum mismatch is 0.100
inch (2.54 millimeters).
2) For the aileron inside of the wing contour, make sure the maximum mismatch is 0.050
inch (1.27 millimeters).
(c) Make sure the clearance at the inboard end of the aileron is 0.100-0.200 inch (2.54-5.08
millimeters).
(d) Make sure the clearance at the outboard end of the aileron is 0.250-0.350 inch (6.35-8.89
millimeters).
(e) Make sure the aileron balance tab aligns with the aileron:
1) Measure the distance between the rig position of the aileron balance tab [1] to the
aileron lower surface (dimension A) at these three positions Figure 27-11-00-990-805.
NOTE: You must measure from the lower aft most point of the aileron balance tab [2].
a) At the outboard end of the aileron balance tab, make sure the dimension A is 0.06
±0.07 inch (1.5 ±1.8 millimeters) or 0.82 ±0.25 degrees.
b) At the middle point along the aileron balance tab, make sure the dimension A is
0.065 ±0.070 inch (1.7 ±1.8 millimeters) or 0.60 ±0.25 degrees.
c) At the inboard end of the aileron balance tab, make sure the dimension A is 0.07
±0.07 inch (1.8 ±1.8 millimeters) or 0.34 ±0.25 degrees.
2) If the aileron balance tab does not align with the aileron, do this task: Aileron Balance
Tab Adjustment, TASK 27-11-00-820-803.

TASK 27-11-00-750-801.
(a) A flight test is necessary if the aileron you installed was not the one that you removed.
(b) A flight test is necessary if the aileron you installed was rebalanced.
