11. MMEL 27-12 (DDPG) Restoration - Auto Slat System Inoperative
A. General
(1) This task puts the airplane back to its usual condition after operation with an auto slat system
inoperative.

C. Procedure
SUBTASK 27-00-00-440-001
(1) Close the auto slat system circuit breakers:
(a) For the number 1 auto slat system,
Remove the safety lock and close this circuit breaker:
F/O Electrical System Panel, P6-2

(b) For the number 2 auto slat system,
Remove the safety lock and close this circuit breaker:

(2) Correct the fault.
(a) Find the fault code or description of the fault that occurred.
(b) If you find a fault code, then do these steps:
1) Go to the Fault Code Index in the applicable chapter of the FIM and find the fault code.
NOTE: The first two digits of the fault code is the FIM chapter.
2) Find the task number on the same line as the fault code.
3) Go to the task in the FIM and do the steps in the task.
(c) If you find a description of the fault, then do these steps:
1) Go to the Observed Fault List at the beginning of the FIM and find the best description
for the fault.
2) Find the task number on the same line as the fault description.
3) Go to the task in the FIM and do the steps in the task.

(3) Verify that the auto slat systems and AUTO SLAT FAIL light operates normally:

(a) Push the MASTER CAUTION light switch.
1) Make sure the AUTO SLAT FAIL, FLT CONT, and MASTER CAUTION lights come on.
(b) Push the MASTER CAUTION light switch.
1) Make sure the AUTO SLAT FAIL, FLT CONT, and MASTER CAUTION lights go off.

(4) Remove the ONE AUTO SLAT SYSTEM INOP placard from the AUTO SLAT FAIL light.

A. General
(1) This task gives the maintenance steps which prepare the airplane for flight with a stall warning
system inoperative.

(1) Do these steps to deactivate the failed stall warning system:
(a) For the number 1 stall warning system,
Open these circuit breakers and install safety locks:

(b) For the number 2 stall warning system,
Open these circuit breakers and install safety locks:

(2) Attach a placard on the test switch associated with the inoperative stall warning system which
states - NO. 1 or NO. 2 STALL WARNING SYSTEM INOP.

(3) Do these steps to make sure that the other stall warning system operates normally:
(a) Push and hold the applicable STALL WARNING TEST switch on the stall warning test
module (P5-18 panel).
(b) Make sure the control column shaker operates.
(c) Release the switch.
