(j) Set the FLT CONTROL A switch to the OFF position and FLT CONTROL B switch to the ON
position.
(k) Move the captain’s control column aft with a push/pull gauge (0-50 lbs), STD-1100 to set the
elevator trailing edge to 1.20 +/- 0.05 inches (30.5 +/- 1.3 millimeters) up from the neutral
position.
1) Make sure the force to hold the control column at this position is 38.0 +/- 4.0 pounds

H. Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition

(1) Remove the adapter, SPL-1674 and control column assembly protractor, SPL-1680 from the
captain’s control column.

(2) Remove the 3M #250 tape, G00270.
SUBTASK 27-00-00-080-003
(3) Remove the vinyl adhesive Scotch Brand No.471 tape, G02219 and black polyethylene sheet film,
G00252, used to cover and seal the drain holes, and the 4-foot or longer piece of the orange
barricade barricade tape, G02443 from the drain hole in each pitot probe.

(4) Remove the regulator, SPL-1742:
(a) Disconnect the pressure lines of the regulator, SPL-1742 from the two pitot probes.
(b) Disconnect the pressure gage lines of the regulator, SPL-1742 from the drain holes.

(5) Install the drain plugs to the systems A and B pitot lines.

(1) Replace the FEEL DIFF PRESS light.
SUBTASK 27-00-00-810-003
(2) If the FEEL DIFF PRESS light was not the problem, then do these steps to correct the fault:
(a) Find the fault code or description of the fault that occurred.
(b) If you find a fault code, then do these steps:
1) Go to the Fault Code Index in the applicable chapter of the FIM and find the fault code.
NOTE: The first two digits of the fault code is the FIM chapter.
2) Find the task number on the same line as the fault code.
3) Go to the task in the FIM and do the steps in the task.
(c) If you find a description of the fault, then do these steps:
1) Go to the Observed Fault List at the beginning of the FIM and find the best description
for the fault.
2) Find the task number on the same line as the fault description.
3) Go to the task in the FIM and do the steps in the task.
