make sure that the see/feel indicator marks are accurately aligned in the valve open position

make sure that the see/feel indicator marks are at 90 degrees to each other in the valve closed position.

-Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

 9. On the panel 49VU: Open, safety and tag this(these) circuit breaker(s):

 Remove the LOCKING TOOL - FLAP/SLAT CONTROL LEVER from the flap/slat control lever.

 (2)
 Fully retract the slats (Ref. TASK 27-80-00-866-004).

 (3)
 De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
 (Ref. TASK 24-41-00-862-002).

 (4)
 Make an entry in the aircraft technical log that the LH/RH or both engine LP valve indication(s) will not be displayed on the ECAM DU.
