For the 2M harness:
(a)
Put the electrical connector (24) in the slot of the bracket (7). Make sure that the connector nut (23) is behind the bracket (7).
(b)
Install the connector (24) with the screws (18), the washers (25) and the nuts (26).
(c)
Tighten the connector nut (23).
(d)
Put the clamp (22) in position on the cable (19) and install it with the washers (20) and the bolts (21).
(e)
Safety the bolts (21) together with MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-010).
(f)
Connect the electrical connector 4053VC (4054VC) (8) to the electrical connector (24).
(g)
Install the bolts (12), the washers (10) and the nuts (9).

Apply BONDING AND ADHESIVE COMPOUNDS (Material No. 08-048) to the backshells of all the electrical connectors.

Apply a layer of SEALANTS (Material No. 09-016) to all the bolts, screws and washers you installed.

B. Installation of the 1M and 2M Harnesses on the MLG Axle
(1) Make sure that there are no kinks in the 1M and 2M harnesses. CAUTION : MAKE SURE THAT ALL ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS ARE IDENTIFIED
_______ WITH THEIR FIN NO. TO CORRECTLY CONNECT EACH PLUG TO ITS RELATED RECEPTACLE. INCORRECT CONNECTION OF THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT ELECTRICAL SYSTEM.

(2) Identify the positions of the three cableforms at the end of each harness.

If necessary, attach a draw string to each applicable cableform at the cable access holes.
(4)
Pull the draw strings through the axle, one at a time, to put the cableforms in position. Remove the draw strings.
(5)
Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors.

(a) Connect the electrical connector 4051VC (4052VC) (3) to the electrical connector (2).

Put the cable clamp (6) in position and install with the washers

Safety the bolts (4) together with MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-010).
(c)
Connect the electrical connector 4053VC (4054VC) (7) to the electrical connector (8).
(8)
Apply BONDING AND ADHESIVE COMPOUNDS (Material No. 08-048) to the backshells of all the electrical connectors that you removed.

Mark the backshells of all the electrical connectors that you removed with red STRUCTURE PAINTS (Material No. 16-016).
(10) Apply a layer of SEALANTS (Material No. 09-016) to all the bolts, screws and washers you installed.
