 Temporarily install the shim (5) with the bolts (7), the washers

 (4) and the nuts (3).

 Calculate the shim thickness (Dimension G):

measure the dimension E

measure the dimension F.

 (c)
 Use the formula that follows to check that the dimension F is

 35.5 mm (1.3976 in.) +/- 0.1 mm (0.0039 in.).
 Dim E - Dim F = Dim G

 (d)
 Put a mark on the shim to show its position.

 (e)
 Remove the nuts (3), the washers (4), the bolts (7) and the shim (5).

 (f)
 If the shim (5) was adjusted, do the work steps in Para 4.H.

 Put a mark on the shim to show its position.

 (e)
 Remove the nuts (19), the washers (20), the bolts (18) and the shim (22).

 (f)
 If the shim (22) was adjusted, do the work steps in Para 4.H.

 To get the correct dimension X for System 2 (19GA), adjust the new shim (13) as follows:

 (a)
 Temporarily install the shim (13) with the washers (15) and the bolts (16).

 (b)
 Calculate the shim thickness (Dimension M):

measure the dimension L

 -
measure the dimension N.

 (c)
 Use the formula that follows to check that the dimension N is

 5.75 mm (0.2263 in.) +/- 0.1 mm (0.0039 in.).
 Dim L - Dim N = Dim M

 (d)
 Put a mark on the shim to show its position.

 (e)
 Remove the bolts (16), the washers (15) and the shim (13).

 (f)
 If the shim (13) was adjusted, do the work steps in Para 4.H.

 (1) Before installation of the applicable shim(s), they must be put fully into a solution of:

SPECIAL MATERIALS (Material No. 05-111) 250 ml/l (57.64 cu.in/US gal)

 -
SPECIAL MATERIALS (Material No. 05-112) 25 g/l (3.32 oz/US gal)

 -de-ionized water 750 ml/l (172.93 cu.in/US gal).
 NOTE : The solution must be between 45 deg.C (113.00 deg.F) and 55

 deg.C (131.00 deg.F).

 (2)
 Remove the applicable shim(s) from the solution after 20 to 40 minutes.

 (3)
 Flush the applicable shim(s) with cold water. WARNING : USE A PROTECTIVE EYE SHIELD/GOGGLES WHEN YOU USE COMPRESSED
