 Make sure that the landing gear doors are open and safetied (Ref. TASK 32-00-00-481-002).

 Energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. TASK 24-41-00-861-002).

 (f) Pressurise the Green hydraulic system (Ref. TASK 29-23-00-863-001).
 (3) If a check of a MLG or NLG shock absorber proximity sensor is necessary, lift the aircraft on jacks (Ref. TASK 07-11-00-581-001).
 NOTE : Do not lift the aircraft if a check of a MLG or NLG shock
____ absorber proximity sensor is not necessary.
 (4) If a check of a MLG or NLG uplock proximity sensor is necessary, retract the landing gear (Ref. TASK 32-30-00-867-001).
 NOTE : Do not retract the landing gear if a check of a uplock

 proximity sensor is not necessary.

 Close the MLG doors (Ref. TASK 32-12-00-410-001).

 (6)
 Close the NLG doors (Ref. TASK 32-22-00-410-001).

 Close the FWD and AFT cargo-compartment doors (Ref. TASK 52-30-00-860-002).

 (8)
 Remove the TOOL-ZERO LOCKING, FLAP SLAT CTL LEVER from the flap/slat control lever.

 (9)
 Fully extend the flaps (Ref. TASK 27-50-00-866-008).

 (10) Install the LOCKING TOOL - FLAP/SLAT CONTROL LEVER (98D27803000000) on the flap/slat control lever.
 (11) Remove the two LGCIUs (Ref. TASK 32-31-71-000-001). Subtask 32-31-73-760-051 R C. Inductance Check of the Proximity Sensors/Switches - Simulated Flight
R  Condition NOTE : The inductance value at the target-near position is very important
____ to the correct operation of the proximity sensor/switch.
R (1) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
 (2) Check each applicable proximity sensor/switch as follows: (Ref. Fig. 513/TASK 32-31-73-991-038, 515/TASK 32-31-73-991-040)
 (a)
 Get the related LGCIU ARINC connector pin numbers of the applicable proximity sensor/switch from the applicable table.

 (b)
 Find the related pin locations in connector AA of the applicable LGCIU ARINC tray.

R (c) Use a 1 KHz inductance meter accurate to +/- 0.25% to measure and record the inductance between the applicable pins of connector AA.
 (d) Compare the recorded inductance value with the value given in the R applicable table. If the recorded inductance value is not as R specified, refer to Para. 4.D.

 D. Adjustment/Replacement of the Proximity Sensors/Switches
 (1) If the recorded inductance values are not as specified:
 -check the proximity sensor and target clearance and if necessary adjust the clearance (if possible) or
 -replace the defective sensor/switch:
 (a)
 FOR 37CV, 38CV, 39CV, 40CV

 -replace the defective sensor (Ref. TASK 27-51-44-000-002) and (Ref. TASK 27-51-44-400-002).

 (b)
 FOR 8GA, 9GA, 10GA, 11GA

 -replace the defective sensor (Ref. TASK 32-31-73-000-001) and (Ref. TASK 32-31-73-400-001).

 (c)
 FOR 12GA, 13GA

 -replace the defective sensor (Ref. TASK 32-31-73-000-005) and (Ref. TASK 32-31-73-400-005).

 (d)
 FOR 14GA, 15GA, 16GA, 17GA

 -check the defective proximity sensor and (if necessary) adjust the target clearance (Ref. TASK 32-31-73-200-001) and (Ref. TASK 32-31-73-820-001)
 - or replace the defective sensor (Ref. TASK 32-31-73-000-001) and (Ref. TASK 32-31-73-400-001).
 (e) FOR 18GA, 19GA
 -check the defective proximity sensor and (if necessary) adjust the target clearance (Ref. TASK 32-31-73-200-002) and (Ref. TASK 32-31-73-820-005)
 - or replace the defective sensor (Ref. TASK 32-31-73-000-005) and (Ref. TASK 32-31-73-400-005).
