R R 4_ If installed, carefully remove the shim (39) with a non-metallic wedge. Discard the shim.
R R R R R R 5_ Install the templates -1 and -2 of the ADJUSTMENT TOOL(M46214) on the target lever (41) with: - the bolts (43) - the washers (44) - the nuts (45).
6_ Make sure that the target lever (41) is parallel with the center-line of the leg.
7_ Put the location lug of the ADJUSTMENT TOOL in the applicable screw hole of the bracket (50).
8_ Use the templates -1 and -2 of the ADJUSTMENT TOOL to measure the dimension Z1. Read and write down the dimension Z1.
9_ Use the equation below to calculate the dimension Y1 +/- 0.1 mm (0.0039 in.): Y1 = 21.0 mm (0.827 in.) - Z1
10__ If a shim is necessary, adjust the new shim (39) to get the correct dimension Y1 +/- 0.1 mm (0.0039 in.).
11__ Remove the nuts (45), the washers (44), the bolts (43) and the ADJUSTMENT TOOL from the target lever (41).
R 12__ If the shim (39) was adjusted, do the procedures in Para. 4.D.
(f) To get the correct dimension X1:
R R 1_ Use a non-metallic scraper to remove all the sealant from theitems that follow: - the screws (43) and (49) - the washers (36) and (44) - the nuts (37) and (45).
2_ Remove the nuts (45), the washers (44), the screws (43) and the target (42).
3_ Remove the nuts (37), the washers (36), the screws (49) and the sensor mounting bracket (38).
4_ If installed, do not remove the shim (39) from the sensor mounting bracket (38).
R R 5_ If installed, carefully remove the shim (35) with a non-metallic wedge. Discard the shim.
6_ Install the templates -1 and -2 of the ADJUSTMENT TOOL (M46214) on the target lever (41) with the bolts (43), the washers (44) and the nuts (45).
7_ Make sure that the target lever (41) is parallel with the center-line of the leg.
8_ Put the location lug of the ADJUSTMENT TOOL in the applicable screw hole of the bracket (50).
9_ Use the templates -1 and -2 of the ADJUSTMENT TOOL to measure the dimension X1. Read and write down the dimension X1.
10__ If a shim is necessary, adjust the new shim (35) to get the correct dimension X1 +/- 0.1 mm (0.0039 in.).
11__ Remove the nuts (45), the washers (44), the bolts (43) and the ADJUSTMENT TOOL from the target lever (41).
12__ If necessary, temporarily install the new shim (35) with the bolts (49), the sensor mounting bracket (38), the washers (36) and the nuts (37).
13__ Measure the dimension W1.
14__ Make sure that the dimension W1 is 9.1 mm (0.3582 in.) +/- 0.1 mm (0.0039 in.).
R R 15__ If the dimension W1 is incorrect, do the steps (f1) to 14again.
16__ Remove the nuts (37), the washers (36), the sensor mounting bracket (38), the new shim (35) if installed, and the bolts (49).
R 17__ If the shim (63) was adjusted, do the procedure in Para. 4.D.
(g) Check the dimension T:
R R 1_ Use a non-metallic scraper to remove all the sealant from theitems that follow: - the nut (71) - the tab washer (70) - the threaded end of the clevis (67).
2_ Unlock the tab washer (70).
3_ Remove the nut (71), the tab washer (70) and the clevis (67)
from the support (69). Do not disconnect the link from the
clevis (67).
R 4_ If installed, carefully remove the shim(s) (68) with a non-
R metallic wedge. Discard the shim(s) (68).
5_ Use a MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003) made moist with
CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-026) to clean the mating
surfaces of:
- the clevis (67)
- the support (69).
6_ Temporarily install the clevis (67) onto the support (69). Do
not install the tab washer (70) or the nut (71).
7_ Temporarily install the sensor mounting bracket (38) with the
bolts (49), the shim (35) if necessary, the washers (36) and
