 Remove the blanking caps from the applicable electrical
 connectors.

 (i)
 Connect the electrical connector (60) to the proximity sensor (59).

 (j)
 Apply a layer of SEALANTS (Material No. 09-001) to the bolts (48) and (55), the washers (56) and (62) and the nuts (57) and (61).

 (2) For System 1 (24GA), if the dimension Z was adjusted:
 (a) Use a MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003) made moist with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-026) to clean the mating faces of:
 -
the sensor mounting bracket (51)

 -
the bracket (66).

 NOTE : If the shim is to be installed, make sure that it is
____
 installed in the correct position.

 (b)
 If applicable, apply BONDING AND ADHESIVE COMPOUNDS (Material No. 08-001) to the shim (65).

 (c)
 Put the sensor mounting bracket (51) together with the shim (65) if applicable, in position on the bracket (66).

 (d)
 Install the sensor mounting bracket (51) together with the shim

 (65) if necessary, with the bolts (48), the washers (62) and the nuts (61).

 (e) TORQUE the nuts (61) to between 0.25 and 0.35 m.daN (22.12 and
 30.97 lbf.in).
 NOTE : If the shim is to be installed, make sure that it is

 installed in the correct position.

 (f)
 If applicable, apply BONDING AND ADHESIVE COMPOUNDS (Material No. 08-001) to both sides of the shim (52).

 (g)
 If necessary, put the shim (52) in position on the sensor
 mounting bracket (51).

 (h)
 Install the shim (52) if necessary, and the sensor (59) with the bolts (58), the washers (63) and the nuts (64).

 (i)
 TORQUE the nuts (64) to between 0.25 and 0.35 m.daN (22.12 and

 30.97 lbf.in).

 (j)
 Install the target (54) with the bolts (55), the washers (56) and the nuts (57).

 (k)
 TORQUE the nuts (57) to between 0.25 and 0.35 m.daN (22.12 and

 30.97 lbf.in).

 (l)
 Remove the blanking caps from the applicable electrical
 connectors.

 (m)
 Connect the electrical connector (60) to the proximity sensor (59).

 (n)
 Apply a layer of SEALANTS (Material No. 09-001) to the bolts (48), (55) and (58), the washers (56), (62) and (63) and the nuts (57), (61) and (64).

 (3) For System 2 (25GA), if the dimension Z1 was adjusted:
 (a) Use a MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003) made moist with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-026) to clean the mating faces of:
 -
the sensor mounting bracket (38)

 -
the bracket (50).

 NOTE : If the shim is to be installed, make sure that it is
____
 installed in the correct position.

 (b) If aplicable, apply BONDING AND ADHESIVE COMPOUNDS (Material No. 08-001) to the shim (35).

 (c)
 Put the sensor mounting bracket (38) together with the shim (35) if applicable, in position on the bracket (50).

 (d)
 Install the sensor mounting bracket (38) together with the shim

 (35) if installed, with the bolts (49), the washers (36) and the nuts (37).

 (e)
 TORQUE the nuts (37) to between 0.25 and 0.35 m.daN (22.12 and

 30.97 lbf.in).
 NOTE : If the shim is to be installed, make sure that it is
____
 installed in the correct position.

 (f)
 If applicable, apply BONDING AND ADHESIVE COMPOUNDS (Material No. 08-001) to both sides of the shim (39).

 (g)
 If applicable, put the shim (39) in position on the sensor mounting bracket (38).

 (h)
 Install the shim (39) as necessary, and the sensor (40) with the bolts (46), the washers (33) and the nuts (34).

 (i)
 TORQUE the nuts (34) to between 0.25 and 0.35 m.daN (22.12 and

 30.97 lbf.in).

 (j)
 Install the target (42) with the bolts (43), the washers (44) and the nuts (45).

 (k)
 TORQUE the nuts (45) to between 0.25 and 0.35 m.daN (22.12 and

 30.97 lbf.in).

 (l)
 Remove the blanking caps from the applicable electrical
 connectors.

 (m)
 Connect the electrical connector (47) to the proximity sensor (40).

 (n)
 Apply a layer of SEALANTS (Material No. 09-001) to the bolts (43), (46) and (49), the washers (33), (36) and (44) and the nuts (34), (37) and (45).
