R  (d) TORQUE the bolts (4) to between 0.8 and 0.9 m.daN (70.79 and
 79.64 lbf.in). 
R  (3) For installation of a post modification 28219 glazing panel (that was 
R  removed for access only):
 (a) Put the glazing panel (8) with the seal (6) in position. 
R  (b) Install the bolts (7). 
R  (c) TORQUE the bolts (7) to between 0.6 and 0.7 m.daN (53.09 and
 61.94 lbf.in). 
R  (4) For installation of a replacement post modification 28219 glazing 
R  panel: 
R  (a) Put the glazing panel (8) with the seal (6) in position. 
R  NOTE : Two complete sets of bolts (7) are supplied with the____ 
R  glazing panel (8). Make sure the correct set of bolts (7) 
R  is used. 
R  (b) Find the correct set of bolts (7) to use to attach the glazing 
R  panel (8) as follows: 
R 
R  (Ref. Fig. 402/TASK 57-37-12-991-002) 
R  1_  Install four shorter bolts (7) at the outer locations in the
R  upper and lower positions. 
R  2_ TORQUE the bolts (7) to between 0.4 and 0.5 m.daN (35.39 and
 44.24 lbf.in). 
R  3_  Look through the glazing panel (8) to see how many threads of
R  each bolt (7) are through the anchor nut: 
R  - if more than 1.5 threads can be seen on each bolt (7), the 
R  complete set of shorter bolts must be used

R  - if less than 1.5 threads can be seen on any bolt (7), the 
R  complete set of longer bolts must be used. 
R  4_  Remove the four shorter bolts (7) used for the check.
R  (c) Install the correct set of bolts (7).

R  (b) Apply SPECIAL MATERIALS (Material No. 05-002) under the head and 
R  to the shank of each bolt (7). 
R  (c) Install the bolts (7). 
R  (d) TORQUE the bolts (7) to between 0.4 and 0.5 m.daN (35.39 and
 44.24 lbf.in). 
R  (6) For installation of a replacement post modification 30791, 30889 or 
R  32153 glazing panel: 
R  (a) Put the glazing panel (8) with the seal (6) in position. 
R  NOTE : Two complete sets of bolts (7) are supplied with the____ 
R  glazing panel (8). Make sure the correct set of bolts (7) 
R  is used. 
R  (b) Find the correct set of bolts (7) to use to attach the glazing

 (1) For a pre modification 25268 glazing panel (3):
 (a) Apply SEALANTS (Material No. 09-045) or PR1829 Polysulphide Sealant for Glazings to the space between the edge of the panel and the aircraft structure.
 (2) For a post modification 25268 glazing panel (5):
 (a) Apply SEALANTS (Material No. 09-045) or PR1829 Polysulphide Sealant for Glazings to the space between the edge of the panel and the aircraft structure.
