R  B. Preparation for Installation
 (1) For the panel 550CB(650CB), make sure that the overpressure protector is installed (Ref. TASK 28-12-41-400-001).
 (2) Apply a thin layer of SEALANTS (Material No. 09-007) to the groove in the access panel (11) for the applicable sealing ring (1) thru (8).
 (3) Make sure that the sealant is touch-dry before you install the applicable sealing ring.
 (4) Put the applicable sealing ring (1) thru (8) (flat edge down) in the groove in the access panel (8): - for the panels 540HB, 540JB, 540KB, 540LB (640HB, 640JB, 640KB, 640LB) sealing ring (1) - for the panels 540MB, 540NB, 540QB (640MB, 640NB, 640QB) sealing ring (2) - for the panel 540PB(640PB) sealing ring (3) - for the panel 540RB(640RB) sealing ring (4) - for the panel 550AB(650AB) sealing ring (5) - for the panels 550BB, 550DB (650BB, 650DB) sealing ring (6) - for the panel 550CB(650CB) sealing ring (7) - for the panel 560AB(660AB) sealing ring (8).
 (5) Apply a thin layer of COMMON GREASE (Material No. 04-012) to the mating face of the applicable sealing ring (1) thru (8). 
R R  (6) Apply a thin layer of SPECIAL MATERIALS (Material No. 05-002) to the bolts (10). Apply to the shank, the threads and below the head of each bolt (10).

 C. Installation of the Access Panel
 (1) Make sure that all the bonding straps are in position and connected correctly. Make sure that they are not damaged or broken and show no sign of corrosion (Ref. TASK 28-00-00-200-001) (Ref. TASK 28-00-00-200-001).
 CAUTION : YOU MUST FOLLOW THESE STEPS OF THE PROCEDURE ACCURATELY.
_______ THIS WILL PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE PARTS.
 (2)
 Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and equipment before you install the access panel (11).

 (3)
 For the access panel 550AB(650AB), refer to (Ref. TASK 28-12-47-400-001).

 NOTE : If the overpressure protector has been removed from the access
____ panel 550CB(650CB), refer to (Ref. TASK 28-12-41-400-001).
 (4)
 Remove the identification label from the access panel (11). Install the access panel(s)(11).

 (5)
 Apply STORAGE PRESERVATION (Material No. 15-004) to the fastener bolt

 (10) holes.

 (6)
 Put the access panel (11) in position on the wing. NOTE : The access panels (11) do not have the same quantity of the

____ bolts (10), but the sequence is the same.

 (7)
 Install the bolts (10) and loosely engage the threads.

 (8)
 TORQUE the bolts (10) in the sequence A thru AF, as follows: CAUTION : YOU MUST REMOVE AND INSTALL THE BOLTS IN THE SPECIFIED

_______ SEQUENCE. THIS WILL PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE ACCESS PANEL.
 (a)
 For the access panels 540HB(640HB), 540JB(640JB), 540KB(640KB), 540LB(640LB):

 -firstly to between 25 and 30 lbf.in (0.28 and 0.33 m.daN)
 -secondly to between 140 and 160 lbf.in (1.58 and 1.80 m.daN).

 (b)
 For the access panels 540MB(640MB), 540NB(640NB), 540PB(640PB), 540QB(640QB), 540RB(640RB), 550BB(650BB), 550CB(650CB), 550DB(650DB), 560AB(660AB):

 -firstly to between 25 and 30 lbf.in (0.28 and 0.33 m.daN)
 -secondly to between 90 and 100 lbf.in (1.01 and 1.13 m.daN).
 (9) Make sure that the maximum in-to-wind or out-of-wind dimension (between the access panel (11) and the wing skin (9)) is between: - +0.3 mm (+0.0118 in.) -0.3 mm (-0.0118 in.) along the long axis - +0.6 mm (+0.0236 in.) -0.6 mm (-0.0236 in.) along the short axis
 for a distance of approximately 100 mm (3.9370 in.).
