R  (i) Put the rear fairing (1) in position and loosely install the 
R  screws (2). 
R  (j) Adjust the rear fairing (1) until the dimension X is 5 +3 -1 mm 
R  (0.2 +0.12 -0.04 in). 
R  (k) Tighten the screws (2) and TORQUE to between 0.7 and 0.8 m.daN 
R  (61.94 and 70.79 lbf.in). 
R  (l) Apply a bead of SEALANTS (Material No. 09-016) between the tab 
R  trailing edge and the rear fairing (1). 
R  (2) Install the inboard flap tab-fairings at the hinge 1B position as 
R  follows: 
R  (Ref. Fig. 414/TASK 57-55-11-991-018) 
R  (a) Hold the front fairing (29) and connect the bonding strap (39) 
R  with (Ref. TASK 20-28-00-912-004): 
R  - the bolt (41) 
R  - the washers (40) and (38) 
R  - the nut (37). 
R  (b) TORQUE the nut (37) to between 0.35 and 0.45 m.daN (30.97 and 
R  39.82 lbf.in). 
R  (c) Engage the front fairing (29) on the bolts (36) and carefully 
R  push the front fairing (29) into position. 
R  (d) Install the washers (28) and (32) and the bolts (27) and (31). 
R  (e) TORQUE the bolts (27) and (31) to between 1.4 and 1.6 m.daN 
R  (10.32 and 11.79 lbf.ft).

 

R  (f) Install the caps (26) and (30). 
R  (g) Hold the rear fairing (22) and connect the bonding strap (39) 
R  with (Ref. TASK 20-28-00-912-004): 
R  - the bolt (41) 
R  - the washers (40) and (38) 
R  - the nut (37). 
R  (h) TORQUE the nut (37) to between 0.35 and 0.45 m.daN (30.97 and 
R  39.82 lbf.in). 
R  (i) Engage the rear fairing (22) on the screws (21) and carefully 
R  push the rear fairing (22) into position. 
R  (j) Adjust the rear fairing (22) until the dimension Y is 5 +3 -1 mm 
R  (0.2 +0.12 -0.04 in). 
R  (k) Tighten the screws (21) and TORQUE to between 0.7 and 0.8 m.daN 
R  (61.94 and 70.79 lbf.in). 
R  (l) Install the washers (25) and (35) and the bolts (24) and (34). 
R  (m) Install the caps (23) and (33). 
R  (n) Apply a bead of SEALANTS (Material No. 09-016) between the tab 
R  trailing edge and the rear fairing (22). 
R  (3) Install the outboard flap tab-fairings at the hinge 3A, 3B and 3C 
R  positions as follows: 
R  (Ref. Fig. 415/TASK 57-55-11-991-017) 
R  NOTE : The installation of the hinge 3A, 3B and 3C fairings is almost____ 
R  the same. 
R  (a) Put the front fairing (61) in position and install the screws 
R  (55). 
R  (b) Tighten the screws (55). 
R  (c) Hold the rear fairing (53) and connect the bonding strap (66) 
R  with (Ref. TASK 20-28-00-912-004): 
R  - the bolt (68) 
R  - the washers (67) and (65) 
R  - the nut (64). 
R  (d) Put the rear fairing (53) in position and loosely install the 
R  screws (52) and (54).

 

R R  (e) Adjust the rear fairing (53) until the dimension Z is 5 +3 -1 mm (0.2 +0.12 -0.04 in). 
R  (f) Tighten the screws (52) and (54). 
R R  (g) Apply a bead of SEALANTS (Material No. 09-016) between the tab trailing edge and the rear fairing (53).

 C. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 6CV, 8CV.
