 NOTE: No more lifting force is necessary to install the oil
____ level sensor (2) until the packing (1) touches the load gearbox.
 1) If there is more lifting force to install the oil level sensor (2) in the load gearbox, then do these steps: a) Lift and turn the handle on the oil filler cap counterclockwise to release the cap.
 b)  Remove the oil filler cap.
 c)  Look in the APU oil tank to make sure there is no blockage or problems in the load gearbox during the oil level sensor installation.
 d)  Before you install the oil filler cap on the APU oil tank, put the chain in the inner APU oil tank until you cannot see the chain.
 e) Install the oil filler cap on the APU oil tank. f) Turn the handle on the oil filler cap clockwise and push it down to lock the cap into position.
 (d)  
Install the bracket (3) and its attaching parts on the oil level sensor (2) with the nut (4).

 (e)  
Tighten the two nuts (4), (6) to 32-36 inch-pounds (3.6-4.1 newton-meters).

 (f)  
Do these steps to connect the electrical connector D95019 (P19)

 to the oil level sensor (2):

 1)  Remove the cap from the electrical connector D95019 (P19) (5).

 2)  Connect the electrical connector D95019 (P19) (5) to the oil level sensor (2).
 3)  Tighten the coupling ring on the electrical connector D95019 (P19) (5) until the electrical connector is at the bottom of the receptacle and the connection is tight.
 4)  Make sure the electrical connection is not loose when you move the APU harness.

 (2) Do this task: Fill the APU Oil Tank (AMM 12-22-02/301).

 OIL FILTER DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE INDICATOR - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

 1.  General_______
 A.  This procedure has these tasks:
 (1)  
A removal of the differential pressure indicator for the oil filter

 (2)  
An installation of the differential pressure indicator for the oil filter.

 B.  
The differential pressure indicator for the oil filter is installed on the oil filter housing with the adapter. The adapter is not removed during the replacement of the differential pressure indicator. The location of the oil filter housing is on the bottom right side of the accessory gearbox.

 C.  
The differential pressure indicator for the oil filter is referred to as the differential pressure indicator.

Make sure the APU control switch on the P5 overhead panel is OFF and attach a DO-NOT-OPERATE tag.

Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:

 (a)  
P6-2 Main Power Distribution Panel
 1) 6K18, APU ALTN CONT

 (b)  
P83 Aft APU Equipment Control and Circuit Breaker Panel 1) APU PRIME CONT
