F. Alternate Brake System Test

Remove the screw from the end of the bleed fitting on the brake and install the bleed hose in the end of the fitting.

Put a container (with a minimum capacity of two U.S. gallons) below the bleed fitting of the brake to make sure that the fluid will drain directly into the container.

Remove the pressure from hydraulic system B (AMM 29-15-00/201).

Push the brake pedals to the maximum position to apply full brake pressure.
NOTE: The parking brake can be used to keep the brake pedals pushed

during the check.

While full brake pressure is applied, open the brake bleeder valve and let the fluid drain into the container until the flow stops.

Make sure that the quantity collected in the container is
42-80 cubic inches or approximately 0.18 to 0.35 gallons.

Close the bleeder valve and remove the bleed hose.

Tighten the bleeder valve to 40 pound-inches and install the bleed screw and the washer.
