Loosen the clamp nuts for the accumulator clamps (two locations) and open the clamps.

Remove the 1/2 inch hydraulic reducer union and the O-ring from the outboard end of the accumulator. Discard the O-ring.

 Remove the 5/16 inch reducer union and the O-ring from the inboard end of the accumulator. Discard the O-ring.

Install the 5/16 inch hydraulic reducer union with a new O-ring at the inboard end of the accumulator.

Install the 1/2 inch hydraulic reducer union with a new O-ring at the outboard end of the accumulator.

Fill the accumulator with hydraulic fluid through the port that has the union fitting for the hydraulic line. Put a cap on the fitting.

Put the accumulator in the installed position inside the clamps and align the charging line with the union fitting on the accumulator.
