Bleed the brake system from the antiskid valves through the brakes.

Remove the bleeder screw and the washer from the bleeder valve on the brake.

 (b)  
Connect a flexible hose to the bleeder valve.

 (c)  
Put the free end in a clean container not fully filled with the same fluid that is used in the brake system.

 (d)  
Hold the applicable fuse bypass lever in the bypass position for each brake.

 NOTE: Always operate the brake fuse bypass lever before you
____
 apply the brakes.

 (e)  
Apply the brakes while you open and close the bleeder valve on the brakes many times with an applicable wrench.

 (f)  
Continue this operation until you remove all the air from the flow of the fluid.

 (g)  
Close the bleeder valve while you keep the brake pressure on.

 (h)  
Release the brake fuse bypass lever to the closed position.

 (i)  
Remove the bleed hose, tighten the bleeder valve to 40 pound-inches, and install the bleed screw and the washer.

Fill the hydraulic reservoir (AMM 12-12-00/301).

Push the brake pedals of the pilot and set the parking brakes.

 BRAKE SYSTEM RELIEF VALVE - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

 1.  General_______
 A.  This procedure contains three tasks. The first task removes the relief valve. The second task installs the relief valve. The third task does a test of the brake accumulator operation. The relief valve is located on the aft wall of the right wheel well.

 (1)  
Make sure that the ground lock assemblies are installed in the nose and main landing gear (AMM 32-00-01/201).

 (2)  
Remove the pressure from hydraulic system A and hydraulic system B (AMM 29-15-00/201).

 (3)
Remove the pressure from the brake accumulator as follows:

 (a)  
Fully push down the two brake pedals twelve times or do step (b).

 (b)  
Fully push down and release the two brake pedals until the pressure indicated at the pressure gage for the brake accumulator does not decrease any more.
