If you get a maximum dimension of 13.35 inches, connect the linkage rod.

 (f)  
Tighten the nut on the linkage rod 25 to 50 pound-inches.

 (g)  
Tighten the hinge fitting bolts of the strike board, and remove the rigging pin.

 (h)  
If you can not get the maximum dimension of 13.35 inches, continue as follows: 1) Remove the rigging pin and loosen the 4 bolts that attach

 the serrated bracket on the inboard door.
 NOTE: Get the door open dimension to the inboard
____ limit of 6.77 inches (section C-C).
 2)  Adjust the hinge fitting vertically to get a maximum dimension of 13.35 inches and a minimum dimension of 1.55 inches (section B-B, Fig. 401 ) while you install the rigging pin.
 3) Tighten the 4 bolts that attach the serrated bracket. 4) Connect the linkage rod and tighten the nut on the linkage rod 25 to 50 pound-inches. 5) Tighten the hinge fitting of the strike board that attach the bolts. 6) Remove the rigging pin.

 1.  General_______
 A.  The strike board inspection for the wheel well door will examine the bolts, the bushings and the rollers for worn areas.
 B.  You have to remove the strike board to do the inspection.

 (1)  
Remove the strike board of the wheel well for the wing landing gear (Ref 32-12-03/401).

Examine the worn limits of the strike board bolts, the bushings and the rollers.

 (a)  
Measure the parts if it is necessary and compare the measured dimensions to the limit dimensions.

 (b)  
If the part is not in the tolerance, repair or replace it when it is necessary.

 (3)  
Examine the strike board and the moved zone for the collected tire rubber.

 (a)  
Remove the collected rubber with the solvent and lubricate the surface with grease (Ref 12-21-01/301).

 (4)  Install the strike board of the wheel well for the wing landing gear (Ref 32-12-03/401).
