Examine the outboard door hinge and attach points of the radius rod for wear limits (Ref 32-12-01/601).

Set the door with the sling assembly for installation.

 E.  Install the Outboard Door on the Wheel Well
 S 434-013
 (1)  
Install hinge bolts as shown in details A and B, Fig. 401.

 (a)
Put one washer between the bolt head and the hinge.

 1)  Put the necessary number of washers between the nut and the hinge.
 NOTE:  The clearance between the nut and the hinge is 0.01 to 0.06 inches after you install the nut.
 (b)  
Engage the nut the minimum distance necessary to install the cotter pin.

 (c)  
Make sure that the clearance between the nut and the washers is

 0.01 to 0.06 inches.
 (d)  Install the cotter pin.

 (2)  
Install the bonding jumper (SWPM 20-20-00).

 (3)
Install the bushings in the bracket support of the radius rod.

 (4)  
Connect the radius rods to the door.

 (a)  
Install the attachment bolts of the radius rod as shown in detail C, Fig. 401.

 (b)  
Tighten the radius rod nut from 135 to 300 pound-inches.

 (c)  
Install the cotter pin.

 1)  If the torque of the cotter pin is not in the specified range or the nut is below the minimum torque, do the steps below. a) Replace the nut or add washers below the nut. b) If it is necessary, replace the nut and add washers
 below the nut.

 (5)  
Adjust the outboard door on the wheel well of the wing landing gear (Ref 32-12-00/501).

 (6)  
Lubricate the outboard door on the wheel well of the wing landing gear (Ref 12-21-01/301).

 1.  General_______
 A.  This procedure contains a task to examine the outboard door on the wheel well of the wing landing gear for worn areas. The parts to examine are the hinge assemblies of the outboard door and the attach points of the linkage rod.
