 (4)  S 435-010Connect the rod end (3) to the link (2).
 NOTE:____ The bolt (18) must go through the link (2) and the side plates (1) with the bolt head forward.
 (a)  Tighten the nut to 36-60 pound-inches (4.06-6.78 Nm) and install the cotter pin.
 (5)  S 225-011Make sure the dimension between the spring housing and the lower pushrod nut (16) is 0.03 +/- 0.01 inch (0.8 +/- 0.3 mm).
 (6)  S 225-007If the dimension did not stay in tolerance, do the steps above again to get the correct dimension.
 (7)  S 435-012Tighten upper pushrod nut (14) to 36-60 pound-inches (4.06-6.78 Nm) and install lockwire.
 (8)  S 435-013Connect the lever (6) to the rod end (4). (a) Put a load on the hook (7) in the lower position to make it tight.

Make sure that dimension B is 0.12 +/-0.01 inch (3.1 +/- 0.3 mm).

 If dimension B is not in tolerance, disconnect the lever and adjust the lower rod to get the dimension of 0.12 +/- 0.01 inch (3.1 +/-0.3 mm).

 S 435-016

 Connect the lever (6) to lower rod end (4) and install the bolt.

 (a)  
Tighten nut (5) to 36 - 60 pounds-inches (16.3 - 27.2 Nm) and install the cotter pin.

 S 435-017
 (12) Tighten the locknut of the rod end (4) to 36 - 60 pound-inches
 (4.1 - 6.8 Nm) and install the lockwire.
 (a)  Make sure the lock tabs are installed correctly.

 Remove the ground lock for the landing gear from the landing gear that you are adjusting.

 Retract that landing gear.

Make sure the distance between the link (2) and the striker in the clevis of the side strut is 0.05 inch (1.3 mm) minimum.

 Do this task:  "Removal of the Door Locks from the Wing Landing Gear" (AMM 32-00-30/201).

 Do this task:  "Removal of the Door Locks from the Body Landing Gear" (AMM 32-00-30/201).

 A.  This procedure contains a task to examine the fit of the parts on the truck mechanical lock.
 B.  The parts to examine on the truck mechanical lock of the wing landing gear includes:

The lever and the frame

 -
The roller support bushings and the bearings.

 C.  
To do this procedure, you must remove the mechanical lock assembly.
