Do this task: "Installation of the Door Locks on the Body Landing Gear" (AMM 32-00-30/201).

Do this task: "Removal of the Outboard Door on the Wheel Well of the Wing Landing Gear" (AMM 32-12-01/401).

Remove the Inboard Door on the Wheel Well

 (1)  S 034-006Disconnect the linkage rod from the inboard door.
 (2)  S 014-007Remove the strike board (AMM 32-12-03/401).
 (3)  S 034-008Disconnect the bonding jumpers from the inboard door.
 (4)  S 494-009Hold the door with the sling assembly.
 (5)  S 034-010Remove the hinge bolts on the inboard door of the wheel well.
 (6)  S 024-011Remove the inboard door on the wheel well of the wing landing gear.

Prepare for the Installation

 S 224-013
 (1)  
Examine the attach fittings on the linkage rod of the inboard door hinges for worn areas (AMM 32-12-02/601).

Examine the attach points on the strike board for worn areas (AMM 32-12-02/601).

Set the inboard door with the sling assembly for installation.

Install the Inboard Door on the Wheel Well

 S 434-015
 (1)  
Install hinge bolts as shown on details A and B, Fig. 401.

 (a)
Put one washer between the bolt head and the hinge.

 1)  Put the necessary number of washers between the nut and the hinge.
 NOTE: The clearance between the nut and the hinge is 0.01
____ to 0.06 inch after you install the nut.
 (b)  
Turn the nut on the bolt the minimum distance necessary to install the cotter pin.

 (c)  
Make sure that the clearance between the nut and the washers is

 0.01 to 0.06 inch.
 (d)  Install the cotter pin.

 (2)  
Apply a small quantity of MIL-L-7870 Oil to hinge bushings and clean it dry.

 (3)
Connect the attach fitting of the linkage rod on the inboard door.

 (a)  
Install the bolt, bushing, washers, nut, and cotter pin.

 (b)  
Tighten the nut 600 to 1500 pound-inches.

 (4)  
Install the bonding jumper (SWPM 20-20-00).
