 (2)  S 224-016Examine the attach points for areas that may have excess wear (AMM 32-11-21/601).
 (3)  S 644-017Lubricate the washer (19), the shank and the threads of apex bolt (18) with the grease.
 (4)  S 424-018Put the bellcrank in its position. (a) Install the apex bolt (18) through the torsion links and the bellcrank (12) from the inboard side.

 CAUTION: YOU MUST INSTALL THE BOLT HEAD AS SHOWN IN THE FIGURE 401.

 THIS WILL PREVENT INSTALLATION PROBLEM.
 (5)  Install the washer (19) and the nut (20). (a) Tighten the nut to a torque of 2160 to 2400 pound-inches.
 NOTE:____ Loosen the nut to the nearest castellation.
 (6)  S 434-020Install the through-pin pivot (17) from the inboard. (a) Align the hole with castellation in the apex nut (20).
 (7)  S 434-021Install the support pivot (13) and the bracket (14). (a) Align the hole with castellation in the apex nut (20). (b) Install the lockbolt (21), the washer and the self-locking nut and tighten the nut.
 (8)  S 434-022Move the conduit bracket (16) to the through-pin pivot (17). (a) Install the washer (15) and the nut.

 NOTE: Tighten the nut and install the cotter pin.

Install the upper conduit bracket on the support bracket.

 Examine all the electrical conduit nuts between the truck pull box and the J box on the lower shock strut.

 (a)  If the safety wire is damaged or loosened, tighten the conduit
 nuts.
 (b)  Use the double twist method to install the lockwire.
 NOTE:____ The torque value is 175 to 200 pound-inches for nuts
 with an inner diameter of 3/8 inch.  And the torque
 value is 175 to 225 pound-inches for nuts that have an
 inner diameter of 1/2 inch or larger.

 Put the truck actuator to align with the holes in the bellcrank.

 (a)  
Put the pin (3) and add two nylon spacers (2) between the actuator and the bellcrank at the same time.

 Add the end cap (4) to each side.

 (a)  
Hold the end cap (4) with the bolt (5), the washer and the nut.

 (b)  
Tighten the bolt (5) and add the cotter pin.

 Align the holes in the truck link (8) and the bellcrank (12).

 (a)  
Add the end caps (9), the bolt (11), the pin (10), the washer and the nut.

 (b)  
Tighten the nut and add the cotter pin.

 WARNING: YOU MUST CAREFULLY DO THE STEPS IN THE TASK BELOW TO REMOVE THE
_______ DOOR LOCKS FROM THE LANDING GEAR DOORS. THE DOORS CAN CLOSE QUICKLY IF YOU DO NOT REMOVE THE DOOR LOCKS CORRECTLY. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
 (14) Do this task:  "Removal of the Door Locks on the Wing Landing Gear" (AMM 32-00-30/201).
