With a nonmetallic pencil, put marks on the wing surface and the fuselage skin to identify the edges of the panel.
(c)
Remove the panel.
(d)
Apply adhesive tape on the wing surface and the fuselage skin behind the marks to prevent contamination with the sealant.
(e)
Make the inner surface of the seals rough with the MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-011).
(f)
Use a MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003) and CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-002) to clean these surfaces:
-
the inner surface of the seals,
-
the mating surfaces of the seals on the wing surface and the fuselage skin.
(g)
Apply SPECIAL MATERIALS (Material No. 05-013A) to the mating surfaces of the seals on the wing surface and the fuselage skin.
(h)
Make a plastic spatula with the correct shape (Ref. Fig. 415/TASK 53-35-11-991-009) and fill the upper double lip seal - fuselage with the SEALANTS (Material No. 09-019B).
(i)
Make a plastic spatula with the correct shape (Ref. Fig. 415/TASK 53-35-11-991-009) and fill the upper double lip seal - wing with the SEALANTS (Material No. 09-019B). Do not apply SEALANTS (Material No. 09-019B) in the area of the seal type 'P'.

(j) Immediately install the panel while the sealant is still soft.
NOTE : Because of the stiffness of the double lip seals and the
____ added sealant, it is necessary to apply a pressure at the seals to install the panels.
(k)
Make sure that the seals are in the correct position adjacent to the wing surface and the fuselage skin.
(l)
Make sure the seals correctly touch the wing surface and the fuselage skin.
(m)
Remove the adhesive tape from the wing surface and the fuselage skin.
(5)
If you must install a new wing seal profile
(Ref. Fig. 410/TASK 53-35-11-991-004)
(a)
Put the wing seal profile (5) and the seal retainer (7) in position at the panel (3).
(b)
Install the screws (9), the washers (8) and the nuts (6).
(6)
Do an inspection of the bonded seals of the panels 191BT (192BT) and 191CT (192CT) for condition. If a seal is defective, do the subsequent repair procedure.
