 B. Preparation of the Inspection Areas
 (Ref. Fig. 630/TASK 53-31-00-991-035)

 (1) Make sure that the surfaces of the inspection areas are clean and smooth.

DO NOT BREATHE THE FUMES FROM THE MATERIAL. DO NOT SMOKE WHEN YOU USE THE MATERIAL. DO NOT USE THE MATERIAL NEAR A FLAME, SPARKS OR SOURCES OF HEAT. THESE MATERIALS ARE DANGEROUS : THEY ARE POISONOUS, FLAMMABLE AND SKIN IRRITANTS.
 (2)
 If necessary, clean the inspection areas with the CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-004) and a MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003). Make sure the areas are dry before you continue.

 (3)
 If necessary, make the surface of the inspection areas smooth with the abrasive cloth, grade 280.

 (4)
 Make sure that the inspection areas are clean and dry before you continue.

 (5)
 Do a visual inspection of the surfaces of the inspection areas. Look for damage and defects in the shape of the surfaces.

 (6)
 If you find damage:

 (a)
 Refer to the (Ref. ASRM 51-11-00-001) for the classification of the damage.

 (b)
 If you find corrosion damage:

 -
refer to the (Ref. ASRM 51-22-00-001) for the general corrosion data

 -
refer to the (Ref. ASRM 51-74-00-001) for the repair of the corroded areas.

 (c)
 If you find other types of damage:

 -Refer to the (Ref. ASRM 51-73-00-001) for the repair of the minor damage.

 4. Procedure

 Subtask 53-31-00-220-059
 A. Special Detailed Inspection Procedure
 (Ref. Fig. 630/TASK 53-31-00-991-035)

 (1) Do the special detailed inspection (Ref. NTM 533155-Part.6) of the elliptical cutout of the keelbeam box at FR46. Do this at the inner and outer edges of the cutout in the side panel LH/RH.
 NOTE : If the edge of the cutout is painted, before you do the

 inspection you must:

 -refer to the procedure steps in the NTM (Ref. NTM 511008-Part.6), 'Preparation for Inspection'
 -measure the thickness of the paint at the inspection areas
 -make sure that the paint thickness is less than the given limit.
 (2)
 Write a report about the damage you find during the inspection procedure.

 (3)
 If you find damage:

 (a)
 Refer to the ASRM (Ref. ASRM 51-11-00-001) for the classification of the damage.

 (b)
 If you find corrosion damage:

 -
refer to the ASRM (Ref. ASRM 51-22-00-001) for the general corrosion data

 -
refer to the ASRM (Ref. ASRM 51-74-00-001) for the repair of the corroded areas.

 (c)
 If you find other types of damage:

 -refer to the ASRM (Ref. ASRM 51-73-00-001) for the repair of the minor damage.
 NOTE : No repair data is given in the ASRM (Ref. ASRM 53-36-11-
____ 001) for the elliptical cutout in the side panel of the keelbeam at FR46. If you find damage which is more than the limits for minor damage:
 -you must contact AIRBUS INDUSTRIE for the necessary corrective action procedure.

 A. Repair of the Surface Protection
 (1) If necessary, repair the paint coatings in the inspection areas (Ref. TASK 51-75-12-300-003) or (Ref. TASK 51-75-12-300-001).

 B. Close Access
 (1)
 Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.

 (2)
 Close the MLG doors (Ref. TASK 32-12-00-410-001).

 (3)
 Remove the warning notice(s).

 (4)
 Remove the access platform(s).
