Remove the plugs and caps from the hydraulic lines and tubes.

Connect the hydraulic lines to the flap control valves.

 Connect the WFFA and WFFB cables to the follow-up drum.

 (a)  
Wind the WFFA cable approximately 1-1/2 turns and attach it to the follow-up drum.

 NOTE: At the flap power unit, the WFFA cable will have

 approximately 2-1/4 turns.

 (b)  Wind the WFFB cable approximately 2-1/2 turns and attach it to the follow-up drum.
 NOTE: At the flap power unit, the WFFB cable will have

 approximately 1/3 turn.

 (c)  Tighten the turnbuckles on the cables.

 Remove the rig pin F-1.

 Install the cable guard.

 Install the flap limit switches:

 NOTE: Make sure you install the limit switches in the correct

 position on the flap control unit.

 (a)  
Remove the finish at the switch mounting areas on the flap control unit.

 (b)  
Put one retaining nut on the switch.

 (c)  
Install the switch in the flap control unit with the retaining nut and the roller guide.

 (d)  
Install the pin in the roller guide.

 (e)  
Use the wrench set to tighten the nuts.

 (f)  Do this task to measure the bonding resistance between each
 limit switch and the flap control unit:  "Electrical Bonding
 Check" (SWPM 20-20-00).
 NOTE:____ The resistance must be less than 0.0025 ohms.
 (g)  Apply a layer of the primer to the exposed areas.
 (h)  Install the lockwire on the retaining nuts.

 Do this task:  "Flap Control Unit Functional Test" (AMM 27-51-74/501).

 Install the switch cover:

 (a)  
Apply a layer of the grease to the switch cover.

 (b)  
Install the switch cover on the flap control unit.

 Install the lower pan:

 (a)  
Apply a layer of the grease to the lower pan.

 (b)  
Install the lower pan on the flap control unit.
