 TORQUE the union (10) to between 1.4 and 1.5 m.daN (10.32 and

 11.06 lbf.ft).

 (b)
 Remove the blanking caps from the open end of the suction line

 (8) and the union (10).

 (c)
 Make sure that the hydraulic line end-fittings are serviceable.

 (d)
 Apply HYDRAULIC FLUIDS (Material No. 02-003) to the threads of the line end-fittings.

 (e)
 Put the suction line (8) carefully on the union (10) and tighten the union nut (9) with your hand.

 (f)
 TORQUE the union nut (6) to between 1.2 and 1.3 m.daN (106.19 and

 115.04 lbf.in).

 (8)
 Connect the pressure line (7) on the hand pump (16) as follows:

 (a)
 TORQUE the union (5) to between 1.1 and 1.2 m.daN (97.34 and

 106.19 lbf.in).

 (b)
 Remove the blanking caps from the open end of the pressure line

 (7) and the union (5).

 (c)
 Make sure that the hydraulic line end-fittings are serviceable.

 (d)
 Apply HYDRAULIC FLUIDS (Material No. 02-003) to the threads of the line end-fittings.

 (e)
 Put the pressure line (7) carefully on the union (5) and tighten the union nut (6) with your hand.

 (f)
 TORQUE the union nut (6) to between 1.5 and 1.7 m.daN (11.06 and

 D. Preparation for the Test
 (1)
 Remove the warning notices from the overhead panel of the cockpit.

 (2)
 Pressurize the reservoir of the Yellow hydraulic system (Ref. TASK 29-14-00-614-002).

 Pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system (Ref. TASK 29-10-00-863-002).

 (4)
 Connect the PTU isolation coupling (Ref. TASK 29-23-00-860-002).

 (5)
 Connect the isolation coupling of the power transfer unit (Ref. TASK 29-23-00-860-002).

 E. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 1MJ, 3801GX, 3802GX, 3803GX

 F. Operational Test
 (1)
 Open the FWD or AFT cargo door with the hand pump (16) (Ref. TASK 52-30-00-860-003).

 Close the FWD or AFT cargo door with the hand pump (16) (Ref. TASK 52-30-00-860-004).

 (3)
 Examine the hydraulic connections of the hand pump and make sure that there are no leaks.

 Remove the container.

 (5)
 Close the access door 198CB of the Yellow ground servive panel.

 Remove the access platform(s).
