Remove the divider net between the AFT/Bulk cargo compartment at FR59.
(5)
Remove the door net from the opening of the Bulk cargo compartment.
(6)
Remove the insulation packs from the fuselage around the forward and aft hinge frames.
4. Procedure

Subtask 52-33-11-020-050
A. Removal of the Bulk Door
(1)
Disconnect the connection rod (15) from the fuselage structure to release the pre-tension of the balance mechanism as follows:
(a)
Install the adjustment gage between the forward lever and the stop fitting of the Bulk door structure.
(b)
Open the Bulk door carefully (Ref. TASK 52-30-00-860-006).
(c)
Remove and discard the cotter pin (18) from the nut (19).
(d)
Remove the nut (19), the washers (20) and the bolt (22) from the fuselage fitting (21).
(e)
Remove the eye-end of the connection rod (15) from the fuselage fitting (21).
(f)
Lower the Bulk door to its closed position but do not lock it.
(g)
Attach the connection rod (15) to the Bulk door structure.
(h)
If necessary, replace the sleeve (17) and the bushes (16).
(2)
Disconnect the bonding strap (8) from the bracket (7) of the forward and aft hinge frames as follows:
(a) Remove the nuts (6), the washers (9) and the screws (10) from the brackets (7).

(b) Remove the bonding strap (8) from the brackets (7).
(3) Disconnect the forward and aft hinge arms (13) from the forward and aft hinge frames of the fuselage structure as follows:
(a)
Remove and discard the cotter pins (1) from the nuts (2).
(b)
Remove the nuts (2), the washers (3), the shim sets (12), the spacers (11), (14) and the bolts (5) from the hinge frames.
NOTE : Write down the quantity of the shims to get the correct
____ thickness of each shim set (12).
(4)
Lift the Bulk door and remove it from the opening.
(5)
If necessary, replace the bushes (4) on the forward and aft hinge frames.
