R (c) Remove the nut (5), the washers (6) and the bolt (8) to
R disconnect the detent assy (9) from the lever assembly (7).
R (d) Remove the nut (13), the washers (14) and the bolt (15).
R (e) Remove the detent assy (9) and the bushes (10) and (11) from the
R structure of the Bulk cargo door.
R (f) Disconnect the push rod (24) from the lever assembly (7) as
R follows:
R 1_ Turn the locking shaft to the unlock position so that the
R eye-end of the push rod (24) comes free.
R 2_ Remove the bushes (25),(26) from the fork end of the lever
R assembly (7).
R (g) Disconnect the push rod (24) from the main lever (66) as follows:
R NOTE : For easier removal, make sure that the locking shaft is in____
R the locked position.
R 1_ Remove and discard the cotter pin (65) from the nuts (64).
R 2_ Remove the nut (64), the washer (63) and the bolt (59)
R together with the washer (60) from the main lever (66).
R 3_ Remove the push rod (24) and the related bushes (61),(62) from
R the main lever (66).
R (2) Remove the internal door handle (23) and the related flange bearing
R (17) as follows:
R (a) Remove the nut (20), the washer (21) and the screw (22) which
R disconnects the internal door handle (23) with the lever assembly
R (7).
R (b) Pull the internal door handle (23) from the lever assembly (7).
R (c) Remove the nuts (19) and the screws (16) which attach the flange
R bearing (17) to the attachment plate (18).
R (d) Remove the flange bearing (17) from the lever assembly (7).

R (3) Remove the external door handle (1) from the handle housing (3) as
R follows:
R (a) Disconnect the lockwire and remove the screw (28).
R (b) Remove the stop fitting assembly (27) from the lever assembly
R (7).
R (c) Push the button of the external door handle (1) to release it
R carefully from the recess of the handle housing (3).
R NOTE : There is a load on the external door handle (1) from the____
R spring (2).
R (d) Remove the external door handle (1) and the spring (2) from the
R handle housing (3).

R B. Removal of the Locking Shaft
R (Ref. Fig. 402/TASK 52-33-21-991-002)
R NOTE : Make a mark on all parts to identify their correct positions.____
R (1) Remove the barrel lock assembly (30) from the locking shaft as
R follows:
R (a) Remove the nuts (38), the washers (39) and the bolts (40)
R together with the washers (39) to disconnect the barrel lock (31)
R from the shaft (41).
R (b) Pull the barrel lock (31) together with the spacers
