 Apply a coat of the SEALANTS (Material No. 09-013) approx. 5.0 mm (0.1968 in.) wide to the mating surfaces of these overlapping joints:

inner skin to inner skin joints (see section G-G).

 -
inner skin to door structure joints (see section F-F).

 (c)
 Apply the parting agent to the mating surfaces of the inner skin which is opposite to the sealant.

 (d)
 Apply the SPECIAL MATERIALS (Material No. 05-002) to the screws

 (57) and the washers (56).

 (4)
 Install the inner skins (50), (52), (55) and (58), the covers (51), (53), (59), (60) and (61) and the trough (54) as follows:

 (a)
 Put the replacement components in their installation position and attach them with the srews (57) and the washers (56).

 (b)
 Apply the SEALANTS (Material No. 09-013) to the screws (57).

 (c)
 For fire protection purposes apply a bead of the SEALANTS (Material No. 09-023) to these junctions:

 -inner skin to inner junctions (see section G-G).
 -inner skin to door structure junctions (see section F-F). Subtask 52-41-22-420-050
 C. Installation of the Door Linkage Mechanism
 (1)
 Install the shift lever (35) on the fuselage fitting as follows:

 (a)
 Put the shift lever (35) in position and attach it with the bolt (41), the washers (36) and the nut (37).

 (b)
 Tighten the nut (37) and safety it with the new cotter pin (38).

 (c)
 Move the shift lever (35) so that you can install the pip-pin

 (39) correctly in the rigging hole.

 (2)
 Install the spring assembly (26) to the structure fitting as follows:

 (a) Put the fork fitting (42) in position and attach it with the bolt (21), the washers (22) and (23) and the nut (25).

 (b) Tighten the nut (25) and safety it with the new cotter pin (24).
 (3)
 Put the control handle (32) in postion to the shift lever (35) and attach it with the pip-pin (34).

 (4)
 Assemble the connection lever (44) on the shift lever as follows:

 (a)
 Put the connection lever (44) in position to the shift lever (35).

 (b)
 If necessary, turn the screw-bolt (27) until the attachment holes of the connection lever (44) and the shift lever (35) align.

 (c)
 Assemble the connection lever (44) with the washers (40) and the control handle (32) to the shift lever (35).

 (d)
 Install the bolt (33), the bushes (31), the washer (30) and the nut (29).

 (e)
 Tighten the nut (29) and safety it with the new cotter pin (28).

 (5)
 Set the spring assembly (26) under tension as follows:

 (a)
 Make sure that the pip-pin (39) is correcty installed in the rigging hole of the fuselage bracket

 (b)
 Turn the screw -bolt (27) until its hexagon touches the extension screw part (43).

 (c)
 Safety the screw-bolt (27) with the lockwire corrosion resistant steel 1.0 mm (0.0394 in.) on the extension screw part (43).

 D. Installation of the APU Access Door 316AR

_______ MATERIALS ONLY WITH A GOOD SUPPLY OF AIR. OBEY THE MANUFACTURERS INSTRUCTIONS. PUT ON PROTECTIVE CLOTHING. DO NOT GET THEM IN YOUR MOUTH. DO NOT SMOKE. DO NOT BREATHE THE GAS. THESE MATERIALS ARE POISONOUS, FLAMMABLE AND SKIN IRRITANT. GET MEDICAL HELP IF YOUR SKIN OR EYES BECOME IRRITATED.
 (1) Make sure that the pip-pin (6) is correctly installed in the rigging hole of the fuselage bracket.
 NOTE : The pip-pin (6) holds the spring assembly of the door linkage
____ mechanism (which has a load of 260 daN (584.5031 lbf)) in its extended position if the APU access door (4) is removed.
 (2)
 Put the APU access door (4) in position so that its hinge fittings

 (7) engage with the mounting bracket (8) of the fuselage.

 (3)
 Make sure that their attachment holes align and install the quick-release pins (9) into the mounting brackets (8).

 (4)
 Install the bonding straps (10) with the bolts (12) and the washers

 (11) to the APU access door (4) (Ref. TASK 20-28-00-912-004).

 (5)
 Connect the door linkage mechanism with the APU access door (4) as follows:
