R  (c) Put the stop fitting assembly (27) on the lever assembly (7) and 
R  attach it with the screws (28). 
R  (d) Safety the screws (28) with lockwire, corrosion-resistant steel 
R  dia 0.8 mm (0.032 in.).

R  C. Installation of the Locking Shaft

R  NOTE : Obey the marks on all components which show their correct____ 
R  positions. 
R  (1) Install the torque tubes (78),(67),(53) and the related flange 
R  bearings (57),(68) as follows: 
R  (a) Install the flange bearings (57) and (68) on the bulk door 
R  structure and attach them with the bolts (58) and the nuts (56). 
R  (b) Put the torque tube (78) into the bulk door structure. 
R  (c) Put the torque tube (53) into the bulk door structure and move it 
R  into the flange bearing (57). 
R  (d) Put the torque tube (67) into the bulk door structure and move it 
R  into the flange bearing (68). 
R  (e) Install the limit stop (55) on the torque tube (53) and make sure 
R  that the holes of the two components align. 
R  (f) Install the Jo-bolt rivets (54) to connect the limit stop (55) 
R  with the torque tube (53). 
R  (2) Install the lever (77) on the locking shaft as follows: 
R  (a) Put the lever (77) into the bulk door structure and move it into 
R  the torque tube (78). 
R  (b) Move the torque tubes (78),(67) together so that the lever (77) 
R  engages in the torque tube (67). 
R  (c) Install the bolts (52), the washers (51) and the nuts (50) to 
R  connect the torque tubes (67),(78) to the lever (77).

R  (3) Install the main lever (66) on the locking shaft as follows: 
R  (a) Put the main lever (66) to the bulk door structure and move it 
R  into the torque tube (67). 
R  (b) Move the torque tubes (67),(53) together so that the main lever 
R  (66) engages in the torque tube (53). 
R  NOTE : Make sure that the holes of these components align.____ 
R  (c) Install the bolts (52), the washers (51) and the nuts (50) to 
R  connect the torque tubes (53),(67) to the main lever (66). 
R  (d) Connect the push rod (24) to the main lever (66) (refer to para. 
R  B.(1)(a)). 
R  (4) Install the joint assembly (48) on the locking shaft as follows: 
R  (a) Install the joint assembly (48) on the bulk door structure and 
R  move it into the torque tube (53) and/or (78). 
R  (b) Install the bolts (52), the washers (51) and the nuts (50) to 
R  connect the joint assembly (48) to the torque tube (53) and/or 
R  (78). 
R  (c) Install the flange (45) and the flange bearing (43) on the joint 
R  assembly (48). 
R  (d) Install the bolts (44) and the nuts (42) to connect the flange 
R  bearing (43) on the bulk door structure. 
R  (5) Install the barrel lock assembly (30) on the locking shaft as 
R  follows: 
R  (a) Install the shaft (41) through the bulk door structure and move 
R  it on the joint assembly (48). 
R  (b) Install the flange (45) to the threaded ends of the shaft (41). 
R  (c) Put the outer flange bearing (36) to the bulk door structure and 
R  attach it with the bolts (35) and the nuts (37). 
R  (d) Install the barrel lock (31) together with the spacers 
R  (32),(33),(34) on the shaft (41). 
R  (e) Install the bolts (40), the washers (39) and the nuts (38) to 
R  connect the barrel lock (31) with the shaft (41).

R  (f) Install the bolts (49), the washers (47) and the nuts (46) to 
R  connect the flange (45) with the joint assembly (48).
