 G. Replacement of the Skin

_______ MATERIALS ONLY WITH A GOOD SUPPLY OF AIR. OBEY THE MANUFACTURERS INSTRUCTIONS. PUT ON PROTECTIVE CLOTHING. DO NOT GET THEM IN YOUR MOUTH. DO NOT SMOKE. DO NOT BREATHE THE GAS. THESE MATERIALS ARE POISONOUS, FLAMMABLE AND SKIN IRRITANT. GET MEDICAL HELP IF YOUR SKIN OR EYES BECOME IRRITATED.
 (1)
 Remove the screws (6) and the washers (7).

 (2)
 Remove the damaged inner skins.

 (3)
 Apply a coat of the SEALANTS (Material No. 09-013) approx. 5.0 mm (0.1968 in.) wide to the mating surfaces of these overlapping joints:

inner skin to inner skin joints (see section E-E).

 -
inner skin to door strukture joints (see section D-D.

 (4)
 Apply the parting agent to the mating surfaces of the inner skin which is opposite to the sealant.

 (5)
 Apply the SPECIAL MATERIALS (Material No. 05-002) to the screws (6) and the washers (7).

 (6) Install the replacement inner skins with the screws (6) and the washers (7).
 (7) For fire protection purposes apply a bead of the SEALANTS (Material No. 09-023) to these junctions: - inner skin to inner junctions (see section E-E). - inner skin to door structure junctions (see section D-D).
 (8) Apply the SEALANTS (Material No. 09-013) to the screws (6).

 H. Installation of the APU Access Door
 (1) Put the APU access door (1) into the opening and install the pip-pins (10).
 (2) Connect the bonding strap (11) with the screws (12) and the washers (13) to the APU access door (1) (Ref. TASK 20-28-00-912-004).

R  J. Adjustment Procedure 
R R  (1) Close the APU access doors 316AR and 315AL (Ref. TASK 52-41-00-410-001). 
R R  (2) Make sure that the locking hooks of the quick-release fasteners are correctly engaged in the clevises (34). 
R R R  (3) Measure the force necessary to move the lever (32) of the latch (33) at the access door 315AL with the spring gage (capacty min. 20.0 daN (44.96 lbf). 
R R R  NOTE : The force must be between 8.0 daN (17.9847 lbf) and 18.0 daN____ (40.4656 lbf) and is measured 90 mm (3.5433 in.) from the rear end of the latch (33). 
R R  (4) If the force is out of tolerance, adjust the clevises (34) of the access door 316AL as follows: 
R R  (a) Open the APU access doors 315AL, 316AR (Ref. TASK 52-41-00-010-001).

R R  (b) Loosen the nuts (35) and turn the clevises (34) in or out until the the force is correct. 
R R  NOTE : When you adjust the force, try at the upper tolerance____ limit. 
R  (c) Tighten the nuts (35). 
R  (d) Adjust the clevises (34) in the sequence front-rear-center.
