Make sure that the the divider net between the AFT/Bulk cargo compartment at FR59 is removed.

Make sure that the door net is removed from the opening of the Bulk cargo compartment.

(5) Make sure that the insulation packs are removed from the fuselage around the forward and aft hinge frames. _________
4. Procedure

A. Preparation for Installation
(1)
Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(2)
Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(3)
Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(4)
Assemble a new tab washer (21) on the screw (20).
(5)
Examine the plug (10) for damage.
NOTE : If necessary, replace the plug plug (10).

(6)
Apply SEALANTS (Material No. 09-018) to the mating surface of the bolt assembly (8), the surface of the hinge pin (6), the shank of the screw (20) and the bolts (20).

B. Installation of the Fwd and AFT Supprot Arms NOTE : The procedure of the FWD and AFT support arm is the same.

(1) Install the plug (10) loosely in the support arm (3).

Put the bolt assembly (8) on the door structure and attach it with the screws (9) and the nuts (7).
(3)
Put the support arm (3) in position on the bolt assembly (8) and the bracket (22).
(4)
Install the hinge pin (6) in the bracket (22) as follows:
(a)
Move the hinge pin (6) in the bracket (22).
(b)
Make sure that the holes of the hinge pin (6) and the bracket
(22) aligns.
(c)
Install the screw (20) with the new tab washer (21) on the bracket (22).
(d)
Tighten the screw (20) and safety it with the tab washer (21).
(5)
Install the washer (11) and the nut (12) on the bolt assembly (8).
(6)
Tighten the nut (12) on the bolt assembly (8) to compress the plug
(10) 2 mm (0.0787 in.) in an axial direction.
(7)
Attach the bonding jumpers (5) and (2) with the bolt (1) and the nut
(4) to the bracket (13) (Ref. TASK 20-28-00-912-004).
(8)
Install the bulk door (Ref. TASK 52-33-11-400-001).

A. Close Access
(1)
Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
(2)
Apply a protective film of SPECIAL MATERIALS (Material No. 05-027) on all components which you touched or moved during the replacement procedure.
(3)
Make sure that the Bulk door is correctly closed and locked (Ref. TASK 52-30-00-860-008).

(4)
Install the insulation packs around the forward and aft hinge frames.
(5)
Install the door net into the Bulk door opening.
(6)
Install the divider net between the Bulk/AFT cargo compartment at FR59.
(7)
Close the AFT cargo-compartment door (Ref. TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
