Apply SEALANTS (Material No. 09-019) to the mating surface of the shims (4) and (13) and the X-stops (2) and (11).

B. Installation of the X-Stops
(1)
Put the shims (4) and (13) and the X-stops (2) and (11) on the sides of the cargo door and attach them with the screws (1),(10).
(2)
Install the screws (3) and (12) with the washers (6) and (15) and the nuts (5) and (14).
(3)
Remove the actuator safety locks and close the AFT cargo door (Ref. TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
(4)
Measure the gaps between the X-stops of the AFT cargo door and the door frames of the fuselage.
NOTE : The gap

at FR52A must be between 3.5 mm (0.1377 in.) and 4.5 mm (0.1771 in.)
-
at FR56 must be between 0.3 mm (0.0118 in.) and 1.3 mm (0.0511 in.).
(5) If the gaps are out of the tolerances, add or remove the shim(s) (4) and/or (13) as required.

B. Installation of the X-Stops
(1)

R R (3) Remove the actuator safety locks and close the AFT cargo door (Ref. TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
R R (4) Measure the gaps between the X-stops of the AFT cargo door and the door frames of the fuselage.
R R R R R NOTE : The gap____ - at FR55A must be between 2.5 mm (0.0984 in.) and 3.5 mm (0.1377 in.) - at FR59 must be between 1.6 mm (0.0629 in.) and 2.6 mm (0.1023 in.).
R R (5) If the gaps are out of the tolerances, add or remove the shim(s) (4) and/or (13) as required.

C. Protective Treatment
(1) Apply a bead of SEALANTS (Material No. 09-019) around the shims (4) and (13) and the X-stops (2) and (11).
(2) Apply SEALANTS (Material No. 09-019) to the threaded ends of the screws (3) and (12).

(3) Install the fairing on the outer skin of the AFT cargo door (Ref. TASK 53-35-13-400-001).
(4)
Install the access panel 826AR.
(5)
Remove the access platform(s).
