Install the bleed air duct: (Ref. Fig. 403/TASK 53-58-11-991-010)
(a)
Remove the blanking covers from the bleed air ducts and install a new air seal (9) and a new air seal (10) in the bleed air duct (4).
(b)
Put the bleed air duct (4) over the bleed air duct (13) and move it rearward.
(c)
Move the bleed air duct (4) forward and align it with the bleed air duct (3).
(d)
Install, but do not tighten, the V-clamp (1).
(e)
Put the rod assemblies (8) in position.
(f)
Install and tighten the bolts (7), the washers (6) and the nuts (5).
(g)
Make sure that the bleed air duct (4) is correctly aligned and TORQUE the V-clamp (1) to between 0.57 and 0.79 m.daN (50.44 and
69.91 lbf.in).
(h)
Put the bonding strap (14) in position and tighten the screws (15), the washers (16) and the nuts (17) (Ref. TASK 20-28-00-912-004).
(i)
Install the overheat sensing element 19HF (Ref. TASK 36-22-17-400-001).
(j)
Install the sleeve (2), the sleeve (11) and the lock sleeve (12).

Connect the hydraulic hoses 1102GM, 1103GM 3102GM and 3103GM: (Ref. Fig. 404/TASK 53-58-11-991-016)
(a)
Remove the blanking plugs from the hoses.
(b)
Connect the hoses (Ref. TASK 20-21-12-911-001) and paint a red telltale mark on the connections.
(c)
Remove any hydraulic fluid leakage (Ref. TASK 51-78-00-615-002).

Remove the blanking caps and connect the electrical equipment: (Ref. Fig. 401/TASK 53-58-11-991-008, 402/TASK 53-58-11-991-009)
(a)
Put the electrical harnesses 6533VN/DC1 and 4643VB/3P in position between FR78 and FR79 and install and tighten the clamps.
(b)
Install the electrical connector 7138VC/3E and safety the connector with corrosion-resistant steel lockwire 0.6 mm (0.0236 in.) dia.
(c)
Put the electrical harness 4210VB/3E in position and install and tighten the clamps.
(d)
Connect the electrical connectors 7120VC-A/1M and 7118VC-A/1S.
(e)
Connect the electrical connectors 7116VC and 11LJ.
(f)
Connect the electrical wiring to the switch 8QC.
(g)
Connect the electrical connectors 11WF-A and 12WF-A.
(h)
Install the electrical harnesses 6528VN/DC2, 6760VN/B1 and 6761VN/DC1.
(i)
Install and tighten the clamps on the electrical harnesses 4213VB/1M and 4207VB/1M.
(j)
Install the electrical harness 7519VP.
(k)
Connect the electrical cable 6750VN/DC1.
(l)
Connect the electrical connector 21WG-A and 22WG-A.
(m)
Connect the electrical cable 6757VN/DC1.
(n)
Install the electrical harness 4622VB/3G and connect it to the terminal block 7508VT.

Install and tighten the clamps on the electrical harness 4622VB/3G between FR77 and FR79.
(p)
Install and tighten the clamps on the electrical harnesses 4631VB/1M and 4622VB/3G.
(q)
Connect the connector 7527VC to the APU air-intake actuator.
(r)
Install and tighten the clamps on the electrical harness 4631VB/1M.
(8) Apply STORAGE PRESERVATION (Material No. 15-007) to the inside of the tail cone (Ref. TASK 51-75-13-916-002).

B. Installation
(1) Install the Tail Cone: (Ref. Fig. 407/TASK 53-58-11-991-013, 408/TASK 53-58-11-991-014)
(a)
Put the crane in position.
(b)
Attach the SLING - R/I TAILCONE to the crane.
(c)
Attach the sling to the hoisting lugs on the tail cone.
(d)
Lift the tail cone into position. NOTE : Make sure that the tail cone bearing (67) aligns with the
____
fuselage spigot (66).
(e)
Remove the installation adaptors (77) from the EXTRACTOR - ATTACH BOLTS, TAIL CONE (98A53407566005) kit and install the adaptors on the attach bolts (70).
NOTE : The tool kit with the partnumber 98A53407566005 supersedes
____ the tool kit with the partnumber 98A53407566002. If only the tool kit with the partnumber 98A53407566002 is available, then it is recommended to continue to use this tool kit.
