R SPECIAL MATERIALS ONLY WITH A GOOD SUPPLY OF AIR.
R OBEY THE MANUFACTURERS INSTRUCTIONS.
R PUT ON PROTECTIVE CLOTHING.
R DO NOT GET THEM IN YOUR MOUTH.
R DO NOT SMOKE.
R DO NOT BREATHE THE GAS.
R THESE MATERIALS ARE POISONOUS, FLAMMABLE AND SKIN
R IRRITANT.
R GET MEDICAL HELP IF YOUR SKIN OR EYES BECOME IRRITATED.
R 1 Apply the SPECIAL MATERIALS (Material No. 05-052) on the_
R hoisting points.
R (2) Connect the APU fuel line:
R (Ref. Fig. 405/TASK 53-58-11-991-011)
R (a) Apply the COMMON GREASE (Material No. 04-012) to the new O-rings
R (51) and install them on the shrouds (38) and (33).
R (b) Install the shroud (38) with the sleeve (54) on the fuel hose
R (37).
R (c) Remove the SLIDE CONE - APU FUEL and connect the nut (35) to the
R fitting (36).
R (d) Tighten the nut (35) (Ref. TASK 20-21-12-911-001) and safety it
R with the lockwire, MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-018).
R (e) Install the shroud (38) in the sleeve (54) and slide the sleeve
R (54) on the shroud (38) and the shroud (33).
R (f) Install the retaining springs (34) and safety them with the
R lockwire, MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-018).
R (g) Align the shroud (38) with the sleeve (54) and the shroud (33)
R and install the clamp (52).
R (h) Put the bonding straps (32), (46) and (53) in position and
R install and tighten the bolts (43), the washers (44) and the nuts
R (49) (Ref. TASK 20-28-00-912-004).
R (3) Install the APU air-intake flap (Ref. TASK 49-16-43-400-002).
R (4) Connect the ball-bearing control cable to the APU air-intake
R flap-diverter (Ref. TASK 49-16-41-400-002).
R (5) Install the bleed air duct:
R (Ref. Fig. 403A/TASK 53-58-11-991-010-A)
R (a) Remove the blanking covers from the bleed air ducts and install a
R new air seal (9) in the bleed air duct (4).
R (b) Put the bleed air duct (4) on the bleed air duct (13) and move it
R rearward.
R (c) Move the bleed air duct (4) forward and align it with the bleed
R air duct (3).
R (d) Install, but do not tighten, the V-clamp (1).
R (e) Put the rod assemblies (8) in position.
R (f) Install and tighten the bolts (7), the washers (6) and the nuts
R (5).
R (g) Make sure that the bleed air duct (4) is correctly aligned and
R TORQUE the V-clamp (1) to between 0.57 and 0.79 m.daN (50.44 and
R 69.91 lbf.in).
R (h) Put the bonding strap (14) in position and tighten the screws
R (15), the washers (16) and the nuts (17) (Ref. TASK 20-28-00-912-
R 004).
R (i) Install the overheat sensing element 19HF (Ref. TASK 36-22-17-
R 400-001).
R (j) Install the sleeve (2), the sleeve (11) and the lock sleeve (12).
