ATTITUDE................................................................................................................... MONITOR
The PNF should monitor the attitude, and call out:
“PITCH PITCH”, ‐ if the pitch angle reaches 7.5 °
‐ “BANK BANK”, if the bank angle reaches 7 °.
THRUST lever ........................................................................................................................... IDLE
If autothrust is engaged, it automatically disconnects when the pilot sets all thrust lever to the IDLE
detent.
In manual landing conditions, the “RETARD” callout is triggered at 20 ft Radio Altitude (RA), in
order to remind the pilot to retard the thrust lever.
Note: If one or more thrust lever remain above the IDLE detent, ground spoilers extension is
inhibited.
Ground clearance
‐ Avoid flaring high
‐ A tailstrike occurs, if the pitch attitude exceeds 10 ° (landing gear compressed), 14 ° (landing
gear extended)
‐ A wingtip or engine scrape occurs, if the roll angle exceeds 14 °.
