(d) Remove the nut [24], washer [25] and washer [15] from the roller [21].
(e) Disengage the locking washer [16] from the locking washer [17].
(f) Turn eccentric bushing [19] until the roller [21] is in the nominal position.
(g) Engage the locking washer [16] with the locking washer [17].
(h) Install the washer [15], washer [25] and nut [24] on the roller [21].

(i) Tighten the nut [24] to 95-110 pound-inches (10.7-12.4 newton-meters).
(j) Bend the tabs of the washer [25] to hold the nut [24] in its position.

(2) If it is installed on the main flap [1], remove the coverplate [22] for the outboard roller [21]:
(a) Remove the bolts [23] that attach the coverplate [22].
(b) Remove the coverplate [22] from the main flap [1].

(3) Make sure the aft flap track [13] and aft flap tracks [14] are installed on the main flap [1] and are
in the retracted position. To install the aft flap tracks, do this task: Outboard Aft Flap Track
Installation, TASK 27-51-26-400-801.

(4) Install the aft flap assembly [2]:
(a) Hold the aft flap assembly [2] below and approximately perpendicular to the main flap [1].
(b) Engage the inboard roller [21] with the inboard programming track [28].
(c) Engage the outboard roller [21] with the outboard programming track [20].
(d) Lift the trailing edge of the aft flap assembly [2] and hold it in its usual position.
(e) Connect the aft flap assembly [2] to the aft flap track [13] and aft flap tracks [14]:
1) Move the aft flap track [13] and aft flap tracks [14] to align with the aft flap assembly [2].
2) Apply grease, D00633 to the shank of the bolt [30] and bolts [36] and the inside of the
bushing [32] and bushings [37].
NOTE: Make sure you do not get grease, D00633 on the threads of the bolt [30] and
bolts [36].
3) Install the bushings [38], bolts [36] and washers [37] that attach the aft flap tracks [14] to
the aft flap assembly [2].
4) Install the bushing [32], bolt [30] and washer [31] that attach the aft flap track [13] to the
aft flap assembly [2].
5) Carefully clean all of the grease, D00633 from the threads of the bolts [36] and bolt [30].
6) On the outboard aft flap track [13], install the washer [33] and nut [34] on the bolt [30].
7) Tighten the nut [34] to 65-100 pound-inches (7.3-11.2 newton-meters).
8) Install the pin [35] in the nut [34].
9) On the remaining aft flap tracks [14], install the washers [39] and nuts [40] on the bolts
[36].
10) Tighten the nuts [40] to 130-200 pound-inches (14.7-22.5 newton-meters).
11) Install the pins [41] in the nuts [40].

(5) Install the coverplate [22] for the outboard roller [21] on the main flap [1]:
(a) Put the coverplate [22] in its position on the main flap [1].
(b) Install the bolts [23] that attach the coverplate [22].

WARNING: SUPPORT THE AFT FLAP ASSY IN ITS POSITION WHEN THE RODS [11] ARE
DISCONNECTED. THE AFT FLAP ASSY WILL MOVE AFT WHEN THE RODS [11]
ARE DISCONNECTED. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURIES TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO
EQUIPMENT.
(a) Move the aft flap assembly [2] until it aligns with the rods [11].
(b) Apply grease, D00633 to the shank of the bolts [3] and the inside of the bushings [5].
NOTE: Make sure you do not get grease, D00633 on the threads of the bolts [3].
(c) Install the bushings [5], bolts [3] and washers [4] to attach the rods [11] to the aft flap
assembly [2].
NOTE: Make sure the heads of the bolts [3] are inboard.
(d) Carefully clean all of the grease, D00633 from the threads of the bolts [3].
(e) Install the nuts [7] and washers [6] on the bolts [3].
(f) Tighten the nuts [7] to 65-100 pound-inches (7.3-11.2 newton-meters).
(g) Install the pins [8] in the nuts [7].
F. Outboard Aft Flap Adjustment

(1) Install the rig pins in the rig pin holes in the inboard and outboard bellcranks [12] and the flap
carriages [10].
(a) If it is necessary, move the aft flap assembly [2] or the main flap [1] until you can install the
rig pins.

(2) At the inboard and outboard ends of the aft flap assembly [2], measure the mismatch between
