(8) Do a check of the adjustment of the flap lever position UP switch [19]:
NOTE: There is no independent adjustment of the flap lever position UP switch [19].
(a) Move the flap control lever to the UP position.
1) Make sure there is no continuity between pins 5 and 6.
2) Make sure there is continuity between pins 5 and 7.
(b) Move the flap control lever to the 1-unit position.
1) Make sure there is continuity between pins 5 and 6.
2) Make sure there is no continuity between pins 5 and 7.
(c) Move the flap control lever to the UP position.
1) Make sure there is no continuity between pins 5 and 6.
2) Make sure there is continuity between pins 5 and 7.
(d) If the cam [21] is not adjusted correctly for the flap lever position UP switch [19], then adjust
the cam [21] again.

(9) Do a check of the adjustment of the flap lever position switches [19]:
(a) Move the flap control lever to the UP position.
(b) Do a continuity check between these pins on connector D5150:
1) Make sure there is no continuity between pins 5 and 6.
2) Make sure there is continuity between pins 5 and 7.
3) Make sure there is continuity between pins 8 and 9.
4) Make sure there is no continuity between pins 9 and 11.
(c) Move the flap control lever to the 1-unit position.
1) Make sure there is continuity between pins 5 and 6.
2) Make sure there is no continuity between pins 5 and 7.
3) Make sure there is continuity between pins 8 and 9.
4) Make sure there is no continuity between pins 9 and 11.
(d) Move the flap control lever to the 25-unit position.
1) Make sure there is continuity between pins 5 and 6.
2) Make sure there is no continuity between pins 5 and 7.
3) Make sure there is continuity between pins 8 and 9.
4) Make sure there is no continuity between pins 9 and 11.

(e) Move the flap control lever to the 30-unit position.
1) Make sure there is continuity between pins 5 and 6.
2) Make sure there is no continuity between pins 5 and 7.
3) Make sure there is no continuity between pins 8 and 9.
4) Make sure there is continuity between pins 9 and 11.
(f) Move the flap control lever to the 40-unit position.
1) Make sure there is continuity between pins 5 and 6.
2) Make sure there is no continuity between pins 5 and 7.
3) Make sure there is no continuity between pins 8 and 9.
4) Make sure there is continuity between pins 9 and 11.
(g) Move the flap control lever to the UP position.
1) Make sure there is no continuity between pins 5 and 6.
2) Make sure there is continuity between pins 5 and 7.
3) Make sure there is continuity between pins 8 and 9.
4) Make sure there is no continuity between pins 9 and 11.

(10) Connect the electrical connector [18].
(a) Put the electrical connector [18] in its position.
(b) Install the screws [24] and washers [25] to attach the electrical connector [18].
(c) Connect the electrical connector [23] from below the control stand [13].
(d) Close this access panel:

(11) Remove the safety tags and close these circuit breakers:

E. Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition

(1) Install the control stand cover [1] on the control stand [13] with the screws [2] and the bolt [5].

(2) Install the stabilizer trim light plate [3] on the control stand [13]:
(a) Connect the wires [14] to the stabilizer trim lightplate [3]:
1) Put the wires [14] in their position on the stabilizer trim lightplate [3].
2) Install the washers [15], washers [16] and nuts [17] to attach the wires [14].
(b) Put the stabilizer trim lightplate [3] in its location on the control stand [13].
(c) Loosely install the screws [4].

(d) Adjust the position of the stabilizer trim lightplate [3] to align with the stabilizer trim
indicator.
(e) Tighten the screws [4].
