3. Flap Control Lever Position Sensor Installation
(Figure 201)

(1) Make sure that this circuit breaker is open and has safety tag:

(2) Install the flap control lever position sensor [20] on the position sensor assembly [2]:
NOTE: The position sensor assembly [2] includes the position sensor [20], bracket
assembly [23], bracket [24] and the crank [18].
(a) Put the bracket assembly [23] in its position on the bracket [24].
(b) Put the crank [18] in its position through the slot in the bracket [24].
(c) Put the crank [18] on the shaft of the position sensor [20] and put the position sensor [20] in
its position on the bracket [24].
(d) Install the screw [27], washers [28] and nut [29] to attach the crank [18] to the position
sensor [20].
(e) Install the screws [25] and washers [26] to attach the position sensor [20] to the bracket [24].
NOTE: Make sure the wire for the electrical connector [9] is approximately 1808 from the
crank [18].

(3) Install the flap control lever position sensor assembly [2]:
(a) Put the flap control lever position sensor assembly [2] in its position on the control stand
[7].
(b) Install the screws [19] that attach the flap control lever position sensor assembly [2].
(c) Install the bolt [22] and nut [21] to attach the link [17] to the crank [18].

(4) Connect the electrical connector [9] for the flap control lever position sensor [20].

(5) Install the clamps [10] with the bolts [11], washers [12] and nuts [13] to attach the wire for the
electrical connector [9] to the control stand [1].

(6) Install the clamp [14] with the bolt [15] and washers [16] to attach the wire for the electrical
connector [9] to the control stand [1].

C. Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition
SUBTASK 27-51-06-410-007
(1) Install the side cover [3] on the lower right side of the control stand [7]:
(a) Put the side cover [3] in its position on the control stand [7].
NOTE: The lower side cover [3] goes under the upper side cover [1].
(b) Install the screws [4] that attach the side cover [3] to the control stand [7].
(c) Tighten the lower screws [8] that attach the upper side cover [1]
(d) Install the pocket assembly [6] with the screws [5] on the side cover [3].
