(1) Do this task: Supply Electrical Power, TASK 24-22-00-860-811.

(2) If it is supplied, remove system B hydraulic power, do this task: Hydraulic System A or B Power
Removal, TASK 29-11-00-860-805.
NOTE: If system B hydraulic power is supplied, the flaps and slats will operate during the
system test.

(3) To get access to the FSEU on the E1-1 shelf in the main equipment center, do this task.

E. Flap Control Lever Position Sensor Test

(1) Move the flap control lever to the UP position.
SUBTASK 27-51-06-740-004
(2) Use the FSEU to find the output of the flap control lever position sensor [20] in the UP position:
(a) Push the ON/OFF button on the front panel of the FSEU to turn on the display.
(b) Push the down arrow until OTHER FUNCTNS? shows on the display.
(c) Push the YES button to select OTHER FUNCTNS? on the FSEU.
(d) Push the down arrow until I/O MONITOR? shows on the display.
(e) Push the YES button to select I/O MONITOR? from the menu.
(f) Push the down arrow until SYNCRO INPUTS? shows on the display.

(g) Push the YES button to select SYNCHRO INPUTS? from the menu.
(h) Make sure the LVR POS shows on the FSEU in the limit of -2.8 to +2.8 degrees.

(3) Move the flap control lever to the 10-unit position.
(a) Make sure the LVR POS shows in the limit of 50.6 to 54.6 degrees.

(4) Move the flap control lever to the 40-unit position.
(a) Make sure the LVR POS shows in the limit of 105.4 to 110.9 degrees.

F. Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition

(1) Remove the stabilizer trim wheel [41] from the right side of the control stand [7]:
(a) Remove the bolt [42] that attaches the stabilizer trim wheel [41].
(b) Remove the stabilizer trim wheel [42] from the shaft.

(2) Remove the upper side cover [1] and lower side cover [3] from the right side of the control stand
[7]:
(a) Remove the screws [5] and the pocket assembly [6] from the lower side cover [3].
(b) Remove the screws [8] that attach the upper side cover [1] and the lower side cover [3] to
the control stand [7].
(c) Remove the upper side cover [1] and the lower side cover [3] from the control stand [7].
