45．quote v.報價（直接賓語只能是 price或與其相關的價格術語）
常用句型：quote sb. a quotation for sth.向某人報某商品的價格
Eg: Please quote (us) your lowest price for the following items.
Eg: For first grade, we quote $280 per ton CIF.

常用句型：send / give /make sb. a quotation for /on sth.向某人報某價
Eg: This is the best quotation we can make for the supply of Mineral Ores.
Eg: It’s favorable for you to push the sales on the basis of our current quotations.
46．reduce v.減少，降低(=decrease直接跟賓語的用法 )
Eg: Do you agree to reduce the quantity from 350 tons to 200 tons?
Eg: Buyers cannot accept your quotation unless it is reduced/decreased.
另外，同義詞還有：decline / fall但不能直接跟賓語，試比較：
Eg: The demand on / for wools has declined / fallen.
reduction n.下降，減少(=decline, decrease)
Eg: There has been a reduction / fall / decrease in demand of wools.

常用短語：with / in reference to商業信函中句首表示“關于”，這種用法很常見。

常用短語：to one’s regret令某人抱歉、遺憾的是
Eg: Much to our regret, no more orders can be accepted this year for heavy commitments.

regretful adj.（指人）感到抱歉的

49．reject v.拒絕（在外貿業務中常用于拒收、駁回等場合，語氣強烈）
注意：該詞后接名詞性賓語，不可用不定式。
Eg: The buyer rejected all the excuses that the seller made for the delayed delivery.
Eg: We reject the goods, because they are much more inferior to the sample.
